Best loving credit union!!

This credit union is the real Christ loving institution! I have all my accounts here. I will stand with real genuine Christians believers..

Joint Owership

Overall app seems good, however they don’t have different login for the joint owner. Everytime my spouse tries to login it sends MFA code to me, this frustrating for both of us as we are most of the time not together.. Hope they will add this have different login details for joint ower too..

Continually lock me out

Customer beware, 15 years ago when I started my account everything seemed good then I had an issue with my account. CCCU locked my account on a Friday/payday. With no notification. Rent due was able to grocery shop yet. I called the branch number was after hours but their security was asking me a series of questions to verify my identity. With one problem, they input my phone number wrong on my account, they straight hung up on me leaving me with no chance to retrieve cash till tied because of mon holiday. I changed my number 4 times in the branch and still it wasn’t correct. I have gone through them freezing my account 5 times and they simply can’t careless about it, now I find out they have either my birth date Erin or my ssn wrong and they won’t help me again. Because of so a staff members incompetence I am left again no help. Unbelievable! So be prepared. They have merged unions to another”Christian’ institution and they now have no account info they can find. Hours later and 6 calls and nothing.

Good bank, bad app

Every time I have tried to deposit money into my account from another bank it asks that I verify the bank and the account. However, it never works. It takes me through all the stages of allowing consent, I will get an email from my other bank saying I’ve given access to myCCCU, and then the myCCCU app goes unresponsive and once I close the app it resets the verification. So far they’ve been a good bank, just a bad app.

Apple and Mycccu keep deleting my review. There is nothing great about this bank, just fees and lies for nothing.

CCCU is 5 Stars, The App is Poor

Update: We absolutely love CCCU and are so grateful they exist so that we have a credit union whose values align with ours. The customer service is also superb. For that, we would give CCCU 5 stars! However, the app needs work, including the widget. There is a delay in receiving alerts, balance updates through the widget, and on occasion, it will temporarily show a negative balance, then go back to a positive balance. Another issue is the need for a physical location in our area, as it would allow us to eliminate a need to use our primary financial institution. We appreciate the concept behind it and tools within the app that help manage finances. We've never had a bank or credit union (we've used both) that offers all of the extras CCCU offers. If we had physical location, the app malfunctioning wouldn't be as big of an issue. For these reasons, we give the app (NOT CCCU) 1 star, as it could be greatly improved upon.

Great app

Their app works perfectly

We absolutely love CCCU and are so grateful they exist so that we have a credit union whose values align with ours. The customer service is also superb. For that, we would give CCCU 5 stars!

However, the app needs some work, including the widget. There is a delay in receiving alerts and seeing a balance update through the widget. Our only other complaint is that we wish there was a physical location in our area, as it would allow us to eliminate the need for our primary financial institution. We do appreciate the concepts behind it and all of the things within the app that are set to help better manage finances. We've never had a bank or credit union (we've used both) that offers all of the extras CCCU offers. It would be helpful if the app functioned more smoothly, if we could speak to the people behind it in person, and handle deposits, withdrawals, etc. in person and without visiting a local, unaffiliated credit union to withdraw or deposit cash. For these reasons, we give the app 1 star, as it could be greatly improved upon.

Huge overstep into privacy

The CCCU app and website require that you enter your social security number for elementary things like ‘enable e-statements’. They were very stern that this is their policy and there is no other option but this and absolutely no flexibility.

Direct deposits also take longer with this bank and they have very low limits on external transfers.

Denied harvest checking and savings

I didn’t even get a chance to utilize these services. I was denied services and when I called to see why, they just say “I’ll call you tomorrow” or “in a meeting I’ll call later”. All very sketchy. If I can utilize this banking then my 1 star would become 5. But I’ve been given no communication. For being a Christian company I’m surprised at how I’ve been treated.

Doesn't live up to the hype

Lots of broken links. Can't do everything the website can. Doesn't compare to the best.

Best credit union and app

Been with this credit union for 33 years and they have done an exceptional job meeting our banking needs. The app is wonderful! Easy to use and understand and so convenient. Thank you!

If you are not using CCCU YOU NEED TO!!!

Bank good, mobile deposit BAD

I tried depositing a check with the app on an iPad. Camera was 90 degrees off from reality. Nearly impossible to get lined up. Can we make the camera and device use the same rotation?!

CCCU IS BANKING REIMAGINED

Absolutely Love CCCU and there heart for missions and church’s and Gods people!

Good but annoying

The app works quite well, but for asking me to rate it every five seconds, it gets one star.

Ineptitude

This app does not show real-time balances especially on the weekends. A person used to be able to check specific deposits and debits but they got rid of that of that feature as well. If you go into the credit union good luck getting help!!

Convenient

I love the convenience this app provides. Remote check deposit and reoccurring bill pay options are two of my favorite features. The support staff are loving and caring people as well.
