I cannot even download the new away app on my iPhone 14.
Still no Face ID
Very complicated app to use. No Face ID and having to navigate the app which is confusing and time consuming. Considering we pay a annual fee
Unbelievable- they’ve just given up!
Update November 2025- unbelievable that it appears that Eziway have, rather than try and make improvements, instead just given up on this clunky, bug-ridden app and redirecting people to their mobile website (which is not an app no matter how much they try and dress it up as one).
My original review: Checking your salary packaging card balance should be something that is straightforward and easily accessible.
With this app though, you have to go through 2FA every time you log in (as it never remembers the device) even to do something as basic as checking a card balance.
For a company called Eziway there’s nothing easy about using this app.

From an app that barely works to no app
They’ve decided to shut down the app.
Outcome- log into their website to access balances rather than having a convenient app
Result- even more dissatisfied users

Still no Face ID
It would be so much easier and user friendly if this app had Face ID. It’s time consuming trying to log in, especially when you get logged out if you don’t use it for a while
So bad, it's funny
It's just bad on every level. Biometrics work some time, other times it asks for a password. Just needs a complete overhaul. The user interface is clunky and hard to use. The work experience kid who built it did a good job for his first project but it's time to get serious and start again.
Can we just login please
Probably one of the worst and most clunky login systems going. More scrutiny and security than major banks except I’m sure the scammers could still log in we just can’t.
Terrible app
It keeps getting stuck and it doesn’t update. Terrible platform!
Update or no update?
This app doesn’t know what to do with itself!! There hasn’t been an update for 7months however the app likes to block your biometrics login, tell you an update is available (it’s not) and make you enter a password! Drives me nuts when I need to quickly check a balance only to be prompted every second login to download a nonexistent update!! Got a few bucks to get this sorted?? 2nd rate at best!

Bio id never works. Need to update my details most weeks. Unfortunately I can give this app any commendations. It could possibly be my fault? Please let me know what I’m doing wrong!

Overall the app is ordinary from login to close. Biometric scan is unreliable, and then it sends you a verification code which you must input manually, twice!! Then the information within is difficult the navigate and determine.

Useless app and they are taking advantage of being stuck with them
This is most useless financial app I’ve ever used. Transactions are not there for days, and it only gives you the most basics of knowing your over all account balance.
From all of the other reviews that have been there for years and nothing changed, I think they don’t care because it is mostly (if not only) used for salary packaging, which is an organisation level decision, and unfortunately our organisations went with them.

App not very user/friendly, sporadically glitchy
Once again, getting a message saying “update is available” but when in App Store it just has “open” as the only option for the app with no obvious way to initiate update. Biometrics has also stopped working, even though it’s enabled in settings. These semi-regular glitches are pretty annoying.
Having said that, it’s a bit better than it used to be.

Very difficult to log in
The only way I can ever log in is to go to the App Store and … not exactly sure tbh … super weird. Once I am in my account it doesn’t make much sense either. I, like other reviewers, cannot see my transaction hx.
Login Issues Everytime
I’m been using Eziway for over a year now and every nine out of ten times I use it I’ll be unable to log in and then will be forced to login via web browser.
My password is always correct, as is the verification code I enter and it will just forever ask me to verify and never move past this.
After a year I would have thought I wouldn’t continue to have this issue with this app 😮💨

The worst app! For such a large company
This app NEVER opens with face recognition it always gets stuck then it doesn’t accept the password and you have to reset you password again!
It happens every time, it is very frustrating and should be fixed.
