Thieves
This was to good to be true. Paid for a dna kit and they have taken £109 from my account for family searches. This had been done sneakily. I want my money back
Forced subscription
When I ordered my kit and downloaded the app, I was forced to buy a subscription as a “trial” then it was never cancelled. Now I got charged a subscription fee for a whole year, I reported it and requested a refund but still didn’t get a response, and I still cannot cancel the subscription!!! What a scam!

Terrible
I don’t use my account at all and unfortunately forgot to cancel the subscription. I missed the email I got before getting charged and proceeded to get fully charged a large amount for annual fee with only 25% refunded which is a disappointing. It would have been nice to get a full refund especially being $520. Super disappointed and won’t be recommending to anyone or using again.

Customer support is teribble
The customer support was so rude and not helpful. They never notified my about the free trial ending and charged a crazy amount then were rude about it
Be wary
After the free trial, no reminder is sent, and the subscription fee is charged immediately. I requested a full refund because I don’t plan to use the service, and the representative offered me two options: a free DNA test or extending my subscription by six months and turning off automatic renewal. I rejected both options because I want a full refund and to close my account given their dishonesty. Not only did they not refund me, but they also never turned off the automatic renewal option.

Avoid
Thieves. Signed up a year ago and have just received an unsolicited invoice where the price has doubled, billed a year in advance. If you’re going to use ensure you don’t trust these scam artists with a renewing subscription.

Doesn't show my ethnicity estimate.
Every day when I login and check, it gives me this message: "Your ethnicity results are currently being generated. Please check back here tomorrow to see the updated results." It never works. Huge scam.
User Friendly
I am on My Heritage and another DNA site, and the My Heritage App GUI is much more user friendly than the other App. I am not saying ‘use this don’t use that,’ I am saying this App is better in the context of accessing uncluttered content than the other more famous site.

I have used several different software programs over the years and this is absolutely the easiest one to use. It automatically syncs data amongst all your devices.
false estimates
I took a dna test and it gives you false estimates and its own by an Israeli company. Go get Ancestry or 23andme it won’t give you bs like this! 🤦🏼♀️

Be careful with the plans. Theyre useless and overcharge. No refunds if you’re over by even a day

Why would you offer a free 1 month subscription and then take 6 weeks to get results? What’s the point of a free subscription I can’t use??? Just to charge me over 100 dollars by surprise when it ends? The app doesn’t even sync with the website even though i’m using the same login for both.
Ai has made contact impossible
I paid for the dna add on for genes, you email me a ai question thing to get my address ect to resend a testing kit. I wrote the wrong thing in the wrong box, it wouldn’t let me go back, it wouldn’t let me delete. So I stopped and didn’t summit it. No matter what I did the wrong answers were locked in. I emailed. Nobody answers. I look on the app and all the contact support part leads to … not being able to contact anyone!

Doesn’t let me log in
I been trying for the last couple of days and it says “log in block for too many attempts try later”, and never works. I been using the web, and it’s great but the app 👎🏼
