Not for me
I tried this app and even got charged $150 that they won’t refund. So sign up knowing it’s expensive.
Difficult to use -subscription scam
I gave up trying to use the app and the help is even more difficult to use. Once you have a subscription you are not able to cancel it. I have tried for months without success and still I get no positive responses.
Thieves
This was to good to be true. Paid for a dna kit and they have taken £109 from my account for family searches. This had been done sneakily. I want my money back. They take no notice at all and whatever instructions given to get a refund of money stolen does not work
Beware of hidden charges and terms
I purchased this as a gift and had to create an account in order to the transaction of a bundle box to go through. I have now been charged with a pricey automatic yearly renewal of some subscription I didn’t ask for, nor have I used or activated, as this was a gift for someone else.
disappointed
Extremely frustrating experience. I paid for my DNA test and originally had full access to my genealogy results, including my ethnicity estimate. Now MyHeritage has suddenly restricted DNA features for users under 18, even though I had already taken the test, had access to my results, and have parental consent.
I understand companies can change their policies, but it makes absolutely no sense to take someone’s money and DNA, let them access their results, and then suddenly prevent them from viewing those results because of a new age restriction. There should at least be a clear way for a parent/guardian to manage an existing minor’s kit without making the customer go through a confusing support process.
I paid for my existing test. I shouldn’t have to worry about losing access to results I already received. Very disappointed with how MyHeritage handled this change.
