Great car lousy App
Mazda makes exceptional cars, their designs stand the test of time and they’re safe and reliable but they lack upgradable technology. Tech that will be needed in the near future. And I’m not saying “add a huge tablet that will control the entire car” I’m saying work on your app and make it accessible for all makes & models and make it free at least for the first 5 years. Latest update doesn’t work
Since I downloaded the latest update my remote start doesn’t work on my 2026 Mazda CX-5. This has been an ongoing problem since I purchased my vehicle in April 2026. I took it to dealership for software update to fix the connected services. It worked for a while and now here we are again. Wish I had never gotten this vehicle. My first and last Mazda.

Amazing service
I purchased my MAZDA in the last week at your Nanaimo location on Bowen Road. Brett, Curtis and Jamie were a breath of fresh air when it came to searching for a new car for myself. The support and professionalism that they led my purchase with was outstanding in comparison to any other car dealership I stepped into. Not only was this present on the days of purchase. It is continued since with assistance on learning my new car.

Needs streamlining
Absolutely nuts that when my door is unlocked, I get a notification, and then a pop up when I open the app, and then a banner on top in the app once I close it. All for the same thing. Tedious and unnecessary.

So greedy that they even remove remote start capability on the key fob to trap you into paying for the subscription. Pure greed.”

Subscription Fee Not Worth It
After the first few years drivers need to pay $10/month for this app to work in any capacity. Basic features like remote start, locking/unlocking, etc. I let it expire and found it’s one less app to open and interact with. I think most would find the sub. not worth it.

Hey, Mazda! I'm your fan with more than 10+ years of deiving Mazda. I pay 20$ for the access to best AI models on the planet and 10$ for the application that can't do anything useful. Remote start - try multiple times, online data - odo, and closed doors - really? Where are wheels preasure, errors, something relate for fiel consultion some analytics. For half of Chat GPT we have nothing! Pay attention! Even to use map and send to navigation ia pain - not history, no nothing. What about do something that modern cars get and then ask 10$ per month? Thanks. With all respect.

More compatible with iPhone iOS
MyMazda App and Mazda Cars should be more compatible with the iOS and iPhone system. Where you interact more with the system. They should create smart keys with Apple Key and be more accessible. Mazda should give more and they are falling behind this makes me think about changing to another Mazda and leaving with another car brand much more aligned with Apple System.

I wish the app could tell me, when there is an issue with the car; the app could tell me what the issue is. Plus, I wish the app could tell me, if there is a Mazda dealerships garage open on Sundays.
Consistently says doors are unlocked when they are not
This app is always telling me that my doors are unlocked when they are not, and also doesn’t refresh the vehicle status. Please fix.
Convenient
I love the app. Starting the car before you get to the hot car is niiiiiice!
Almost good
Just got a 2026 cx-5. The dealer installed the needed fix (recall) and the app still won’t up manually. It does update automatically on occasion. But tire pressure is blank and range / mileage is always out of date. The remote features are good.
$60k not enough for Mazda
For 4 months of my free trail I was not able to use the remote climate feature due to a recall fix breaking something with the app. Mazda refuses to extend my trail. Now they want to charge $10/month for these features, and I assume the price will increase as the years go on. If I keep the car 10 years I would have 7 paid years of subscription for $840, which was like 1% of the purchase price. How greedy can you be? Even though I love my CX90, this is the last Mazda I’ll buy.
