Won’t let me login
I had troubles with the app the moment I downloaded and tried to use it. First, it wouldn’t let me sign up. Eventually I was able to from the MyMazda website. Now that I have a login, the actual “login” button doesn’t work. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app several times.

First time owning a Mazda, which I’m loving by the way, but I have never been able to utilize the remote start feature.

Great App to Have!
Having this app on my phone is very helpful and convenient! It lets me know if someone has entered and started my car. It lets you auto start your car from inside your home on a hot or cold day to get the A/C or heater started, and it has so many other helpful features! Great app to have!

Subscriptions suck
I haven’t used the remote start in over 6 months and can’t find a way to cancel through the app. I shouldn’t have to pay $10/month to remote start my $50k car… last Mazda I ever plan on purchasing!

Not worth the price - old tech
$10/mo is wild. I don’t have any apps that cost that much. This app can start my car sometimes, but that doesn’t mean you can change the temperature controls. So if it was chilly when I parked it last, then I want to start it to cool it down during a hot afternoon there is not point, my AC would have been off. Also doesn’t reliably lock the car remotely. Notifications are annoying, I had them on incase the car was left unlocked and it warned me, but seems like I just kept getting notifications to play Mazda trivia and Mazda news? This should be a devoted tool, a remote key fob and diagnostics app, not news and trivia. Unbelievable they want $10/mo for something that maybe works sometimes and other companies have it for free, not to mention if you do successfully start your car remotely you will need to turn the car off and on again before you drive anywhere.

the app never works. opens to show vehicle info but past that can’t start the vehicle/ can’t lock/ unlock doors. what is the use?
Basic Features Gated Behind Subscription Model
If you asked me to rate this app two months ago while I was still in the first year of ownership period where the app is free I would have rated it favorably since I used it just about every day. BUT once that one year is up Mazda pulls the rug out from under you and places basic table stakes features behind a subscription. I should not have to pay Mazda a subscription fee just to start the AC in the most expensive vehicle they make. After plugging my SUV in to charge during the day, outside of the normal charging schedule, I should not have to get back in the car and navigate to a menu deep in the infotainment center just to start the charging manually. I expect to be able to do those basic functions by simply tapping a button ether on an app or key fob. Those functions have been available for years on key fobs or free apps. Mazda key fobs do not have those options just the app that they are now trying to charge me for. No thanks.
