The app and website is designed to be difficult to use, long phone calls and payments rejected on this app. Will be making a formal complaint to the FCA

As with the website, when I try to access my account on the app, I receive an error message telling me to call them. Useless.
Pointless
What an absolutely pointless app, message service unavailable error when you try to generate a settlement figure. All the money they are making in interest you would think they would have a better app or at least one that works.
Payment
Whenever I am trying to make a payment it either refuses or it says authentication but won’t proceed any further. I’ve tried to do this on the website but nothing seems to be happening. Please fix this as there are people who are actually trying to make these purchases but can’t because your app declines them, which then put them in debt because the payment scheme is not working!

Worst app I’ve used.
App does not function as needed, cannot use direct message so better of calling. Cannot use settlement request so have to call. Only use the app has is to check balance which is not always up to date.

So I replaced my phone with a newer model since then I haven’t been able to log in right away had to get the account unlocked, replaced the password & then created the passcode and whenever I enter the passcode the app crashes and reset so would suggest just use the website until they fix this problem

I am extremely disappointed with MotoNovo Finance’s app and website. I’ve encountered repeated technical issues when trying to make extra payments towards my car finance. I’ve used multiple devices (phone, laptop, and computer) and followed the necessary steps, including authorizing payments via my bank app. However, every time I return to the MotoNovo webpage, it either fails to display properly or doesn’t allow me to proceed.
I even deleted and reinstalled the app, hoping this would help, but the issues persist. I’ve tried on different days, with no success. The app also frequently crashes upon login, which adds to the frustration.
This experience makes me feel like MotoNovo Finance purposefully creates these roadblocks to discourage early repayment and maximize the interest they earn. It’s unacceptable for a finance company to have such an unreliable platform. I’ve had enough and will not continue to struggle with a system that clearly doesn’t work. Avoid this service if you value your time and sanity.

Probably the worst app ever; now crashes every time I try and log in. Payment takes forever to proceed 99% of the time never does and I’ll have to resort to the direct debit. Essentially no way to pay off your debt if you wanted to just wait it out.
Crashes after change to new device
The app works on my Iphone 12 pro before but i upgraded my phone to Iphone 16 pro and every time I log in the app is forced to close why is that?
