No longer functional

A couple of years ago this worked excellently but now the app is unusable. The website still works most of the time but given they also can't manage to send cards out on time or communicate effectively I don't have much confidence in them now!

Still doesn’t work

Have loaded the latest update and the problem with adding money is still there. I had previously found that if you delete the payment method and added it again it worked the first time. After that same old server had a hiccup message. Not impressed.

Server hiccup - customer service email bouncing

App and card used to work fine - like the idea I can still use a card in places I don’t feel safe using my bank card. But this last few weeks I have been unable to add money to the card via the app, it just keeps saying ‘ server hiccup, try again’ - tried emailing customer service email address given within the app snd it just bounces back - lost all confidence that these people should have anything to do with money if they can’t get the basics right, so closing account.

App never works

I changed my bank as this app and the bank have become a joke!
Everytime you go on the app it crashes and now they want to charge you a monthly fee on top of the charge for each time you want to top you account so do yourself a favour and look for another bank account

Used to be good...

Have been using this card for several years but in the last month it has become impossible. The app has crashed and the website isn’t working well. Every time I log out I have to reset my password to log back in; that’s if you can actually get on the website. Can’t load any money so can’t use my card. Hopeless.

Works majority of time

It does what it is supposed to do most of the time. Can be a bit finickity if you have to reload it for any reason.
The odd time it refuses to open.

Work quite well but...

I’ve been pretty happy with the app. It’s rather dated but works well for me however when i view payments on my iPhone or ipad I cannot see the final digit of the payment ie the final penny. Turning the device thro 90 degs doesn’t help.

Also i object to being charged £1 for to call the helpline so don’t tell me to do that.

SSL Error

The app will not load and has not done for days now - it keeps telling me an SSL error has occurred. I can’t log in through the web site either - the browser cannot establish a secure connection.

This is a mastercard app we’re talking about, not some little game or something, and it doesn’t work, with no explanation and no sign of a fix forthcoming - so for now my Optimum card is basically useless.

Please sort it out.

Who manages this app?

Worked great for 2 years then app suddenly stopped working on iPhone with message ‘could not connect to server’. Can still access my account via pc but that’s not much use when you are trying to use the card!!

Have they done any user testing?

Very poor app. Even the basic data entry screens don’t work which is incredibly frustrating and time wasting. Will be cancelling card as a result

Crap

This app just flat out doesn’t work. Every time I have tried to set it up it says your user name and password are wrong, despite the same login working on the website.

The app worked fine and now for someone reason it won’t let me add money to the card after the last update. What a waste

Horrible Interface

The app has worked alright for me despite been a little sluggish at times. My issue with the app is that I cannot stand the interface. All the fonts and text sizes are totally different than that of the standard iOS interface and whats more it has a dark background which I also find rather annoying. I would like to see an interface thats consistent with iOS interface.... in other words the same font, same text sizes and same white background.

If you need to reinstall it won’t work again.

If you need to reinstall the app it won’t work again. Can’t login again. The continue button on the login screen remains disabled. Developers: please do not reply with a message to say “ring customer support”. You know that will cost me money! Just get on and fix the issue described!!

Will not open.

Used to be great. Now fails to open every single time making it almost useless. It was fine until a recent update. Sort it out! Great card ruined by app.

Customer Service Can't Fix It

Spinning wheel. Will not load. Don't say contact customer service. They can't fix the app. You the developer should fix it. People who want this great card may be put off by an app that doesn't work.

Garbage

It used to work, all be it very slow, but haven't been able to get as far as the Log on screen for 6 months+
Currently not fit for purpose.

I cannot open it after last update ?!!!

It was working OK but immediately after last update I cannot open it - just spinning wheel. Reinstalled, many times testart and ... no change. Guys please can you correct it. Thank you.

Won't open!

Worked great until I did the latest update now won't load just gives the loading wheel but doesn't do anything. Needs sorted asap!

Broken on latest release

Worked fine for last year. Updated to latest version, now just sits there with a spinning wheel. Try and get some people who test your app updates next time.
