I’m not sure what the other reviewers are doing differently, but I signed up online on a computer then downloaded this app and logged in fine.
Docked one star because I can’t add the myperks card to Apple wallet. That would be so much faster than trying to find a store specific app when at checkout.

Keeps kicking me out
I downloaded the app, but had to delete it again. After creating an account, I was told it was emailing me a code. I looked up the code but it had already taken me back to the home screen without ever letting me proceed. I tried several times, then deleted this useless app
Buggy
You cannot go through the app setup in the app. When getting to the verification step, the app kicks you out when switching to your to get the verification code.
Does Not Function -
This app is a sign that Giant Eagle/ Meijer business leaders and designers do not take pride in their work.
Waste of time
Worst app ever. Won’t allow you to sign in, then wants you to re-create account. Glitches and won’t function, even after uninstalling and re-installing. Waste of 20 minutes of my life that I won’t get back.

Worst app I have used. Like everyone else, it glitches and I can’t sign up. What a waste of my time this has been. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

i have been trying to make an account since June of 2023 it is now August. the customer service is terrible they really have no idea what’s going on and try to make you feel less superior for explaining to them if can’t be you that’s the issue when the app simply won’t work i made an account, it said it wasn’t real. i try to make a new account? it glitches when i go to get the email code. so disappointing for such a prominent business seen in ohio i just really can’t believe they put this on the apple store.

Worthless and so is customer service
Keeps saying the deposit/withdrawal amounts to verify my checking are incorrect and now says I have to call a number. Customer service hangs up after waiting on hold. Also makes you go through the very clunky process of inputting a security code sent to your email EVERY SINGLE TIME you try to do literally anything. I feel like I’m using an app to use an app to use another app. This is ridiculous. Whoever is developing this needs to go look at seriously ANY other retailer’s app to see how crappy this one is if they don’t already know. FIX IT.

Very glitchy and does not work
I keep trying to login and recover my password but I don’t get the email code right away and when I do get it and return to the app the app starts me at the login process again and won’t allow me to use the code I just received.
Lousy sign up
As Pete Juggler said, it’s impossible to sign in. This is supposed to be helpful? Not if I can’t use it!

Terrible from the get go!
I tried signing up and got sent to original screen and now can’t access anything at all. I have enough trouble with the Giant Eagle app so I don’t want another app that doesn’t work or only works poorly. It seems every update on the Giant Eagle app only makes it worse.
Getting the same bug others are getting
As the most review before mine says, when trying to sign up and check for a verification email it glitches and takes you back to the Home Screen not letting the user proceed with the sign up process. I also hate that I even have to download this app just to use MyPerks. I (thought I had) signed up for MyPerks Direct Pay last week. I successfully linked a checking account but when I tried to use it at the pump my account number wasn’t even the right length? So here I am trying to troubleshoot it let alone just trying to make a new account altogether. Giant Eagle must not want my money. Guess I’ll just stick to other gas stations in the meantime.
Edit: I also forgot to add that in my email saying there’s no account tied to my email address and to make a new account the link was dead. I don’t think I’ve ever written an app review but these are some pretty glaring issues from a large company. Can’t believe how complicated the process is compared to literally any other loyalty program.

Unable to verify email
Yup, the designers definitely don’t use this app. I can’t even verify my email to get started using it. Big ole glitch right from the get go. App needs a complete re-do.
Glitchy and unusable
I dont usually leave reviews, however i was trying to sign up for this to save some money and all, cus im in a tight spot. The way this app is set up for me is unusuable. I click register and fill out all the details, and i get sent a verification to my email, but as soon as i close the app to go to my email, and then go back to mperks app, its back to the screen where it says register and log in and no matter which one u click, u ultimatly have to kill the app and restart it and its every time you close the app out. Unusable.

Worst app ever
This app is terrible. I went to open an account and kept needing verification codes. Every time I would get the code from my email and opened the app back up it would restart and never got my account set up. Tried for over an hour and nothing. An hour of my life I’ll never get back, thanks for the worst app ever.

Meijer m perks
Went through created a account, put all my info in, temporarily closed app to retrieve 6 digit code sent to Email & now App won’t open at all , will not allow me to sign in, oh so frustrating!! I believe this is why, I went back to Kroger before as I’ve Never had a issue with there’s.
