Health app information

I’ve noticed today that there’s some additional information that can be used from the Health app, such as stairs, walking, gait etc. however the only information being provided from health is Steps, everything else is blank. Other than this I find the app really useful either with the advice pages, surveys or exercises. It gives me a good overview of my recovery.

Poor UX, looks like it was written for an iPhone 3G

An app that does nothing except scrape your Apple Health data. No links to your current treatment plan. No way to revoke consent and delete your account and data.
Feels like it was made in a high school coding class and received a C- grade.

Extremely helpful app

Clarification is key to full recovery and this app has it in abundance

I have had 2 hips done now and I didn’t have the app for my first hip but my second hip operation I was given the opportunity to use it and it has been amazing and extremely helpful pre and post surgery. Everything i needed to know was in it and I highly recommend it to everyone in the UK who is about to have surgery. Amazing helpful and easy to use.

Can’t get pin code

Disappointing. Cant get it to work. No way of getting pin code.

Where’s the reset button?

I put in my reps for the day, and then did some more. But the app is showing a huge amount of reps that I didn’t do. When I search the knowledge base it says to use the reset button, but that is nowhere to be found. I’ve sent a message to the help.us support email given in the knowledge base but no response yet. It’s a pretty poor design that should be fixed, and could be fixed easily. But for now my erroneous reps are really skewing the report for my rehab, and apparently no way to correct them.

Worried now- App won’t open

This is totally rubbish- it doesn’t work on my IPhone 17. The company even called me and have left me in limbo/. I hope this isn’t important. Waste of NHS money- incompetency at its worst- my recovery is being hampered “ My Recovery “ - sort yourselves out you amateurs!!

No info or exercises

Doesn’t display anything under info, exercises or pain

A wonderful knee!

As the saying goes my new knee is ‘the best thing since sliced bread’ 😃
It’s wonderful, amazing, fantastic and it’s just one year old today. Thank you so much Mr Burston and team 😄

Poor

As an ex-developer this is a poorly written app.
1. It stores progress locally so if you use multiple devices the progress is not shown across devices.
2. Pages read are not flagged or shown so you can read the same thing several times.
3. No graph of progress so never sure or able to compare your previous estimates.
4. Too many pages to read.
5. Almost like 70’s ‘pain is in the mind’ ignoring it is a body’s response and signal to injury.
Needs a rewrite and better planning.

Brilliant helpful app

I really like this app, found it really useful and informative. If like me you like to google to know what is going to happen- you get various answers but when you use the app you know you are getting the right answers from the clinicians who will be carrying out your procedure.
Would definitely recommend you to use it.

Pain-focussed questions irrelevant to my situation

Want to help my spinal surgeon but see little point in completing this app when requested since every question is pain-focussed and irrelevant to my situation and the reason I had the decompression surgery.
