Dead…

Whelp looks like this app is dead. Can’t log in even if I reset my password. No response from support so guess I can’t control my blinds any longer.

Product no longer working and apparently no longer available

We’ve had this product for several years and it has worked great. Within the past year, one of our blinds stopped working. when I push button to identify blind, it does identify it, but no longer can open and close it. We have looked online and apparently they no longer make the motors. Apparently you can send in the motor and get a repair for $50, but not sure that is even legitimate. Is this product something that has been abandoned?

Randomly deleted all my blinds

I’ve been using this app for a while and it has suddenly deleted ALL the blinds I had paired to it. This means I have to go around my house with a ladder to try and re-pair every single one of them individually! Unacceptable.

Rubbish avoid

Utter garbage, doesn’t work, Bridge broken for weeks on end, support none existent. Avoid

Unable to sign into app

This app signed me out and I have not been able to sign back in.
I used option for “forgotten password” and it claims to have sent new password to my email but never did. I tried that multiple times.
I can’t control or recalibrate one of my malfunctioning blinds! I need help!

Not Google Home compatible

You can no longer seem to use these with Google Home. It asks you now to authenticate via Google Home, not Google Assistant. And that’s not option with MySmartBlinds

A Great App Restored

Thank you for updating the app to make it compatible with iOS 16.2. I’ve been using the MySmartBlinds app for years without issue until last week. When my wife’s app was working on iOS 16.1 I knew it was a compatibility issue. I’m so happy to be able to again control my 8 blinds. Sometimes you need to open/close your blinds ahead of the scheduled times, and it’s great to be able to do that again.

I keep getting this message “There was an error logging in” this needs to be fixed.

The errors had been fixed and my rating has been updated

Upsetting that there is no or very little control without connection!!

Multiple app issues encountered

I’ve been using this app for a couple of years with no issues, now all of a sudden I’m having nothing but problems. On my iPhone 12 Pro (iOS 16.2) it constantly crashes. Every time I restart, I have to log back in, then it crashes again. I’ve reinstalled the app multiple times to no avail. On my iPad Air 4 (iPadOS16.2) it crashes if I try to select one of my blinds. If I try to delete that room, I cannot. Anytime I select a blind, the app crashes. Very frustrated with a normally perfectly functioning product.

Updated app has me back in business.
Love MySmartBlinds. Has helped lower my electric bill especially during the winter.

Smart blinds app just stopped account access

This app just stopped working after many years of working well.
I can no longer sign into the app even after upgrading the app.
Now I cannot control blinds and without access to app cannot troubleshoot either.

One star rating is very generous because a good product has become inoperable because of changes being made by developers.
I recommend avoiding this product if you plan on using it for more than a few years!!

Working again

Back to working with the latest app update… but a very absurd design that requires internet login to control devices in my own home.

Useless

This app is junk. It crashes almost 100% of the time. If you can manage to get to the hub menu, it’s impossible to add a hub. So it basically makes the tilt product useless - with no hub you can’t connect to smart home and with the app crashing you can’t even use the Bluetooth controls to work the blinds.

EDIT: app is update and works now but the hub is bricked. Stay away.

App is down

The app began behaving strange a few weeks ago when it began prompting me to login every time it was opened. A few days later the login process would fail frequently, before successfully allowing me to login. Then the app began crashing as soon as it would open, even before I could attempt to login. Now, I’m left with 20+ windows with these blinds that can no longer be controlled by this app.

Support slow to respond to updates

I can no longer log into my app, so I can’t control my blinds beyond what they’re said to do already. I was told that the app was going to be updated but it has not been. The outage should not have occurred, ideally, but accidents do happen. However, when they do occur, downtime needs to be minimized. I feel that the company place is these at a lower priority than other products they have.
I would not recommend the app or the blinds given the trouble I’ve had with them for the past four years.

Work great until you try add blinds to compatible to smart home devices

We have had a great experience with the blinds so far. However, we have a fridge that has the option to add the smart blinds app to it and we checked compatibility with smart blinds. They are compatible with additional piece of equipment - which we bought. We attempted to set it up and it is not working. However, now we can’t log into the app on our phones anymore either. We tried resetting our password and that doesn’t work either. We tried deleting the app and re-installing it and that is t working either. We looked up the number for support and called that but got a voice recording during business hours that said there are no customer service agents available to assist us so leave a message with your name and number and we will get back to you. Really??? This is frustrating. You measure your own blinds and order them. You install them and then you trouble shoot the issues and you can’t even reach anyone when you need some support. So, where is all the staff?

Unable to login for days - please fix ASAP!

Being unable to open the higher-up blinds in my house is a major inconvenience. Please deliver a fix ASAP!

Installed but can’t set up because login fails.

The app does not work. Neither signing up or logging in work. And without logging in you can’t use the smart blinds at all.

Will be returned.

Horrible experience - wouldn’t buy again

My experience with these blinds have been very similar to others. At first they all worked great and would open/close through the app and voice command (through Alexa) perfectly. Fast forward to today I’m having all kind of issues (can’t log into the app, blinds not being recognized by the app, etc). And on top of all that the customer service is subpar. Really unacceptable for what they charge for the blinds. I would NOT recommend.

Can’t even log in now

It has been working just fine for 2 years. Then this past month it asks me to log in every time I open the app. After a month of doing that, now I can’t even log in. The Product team, has not released an update to this app in a month, so something in their servers got messed up. It’s such a simple app, but they stop maintaining it.
