No longer works with Alexa

Late in 2025 this app stopped working with Alexa. Neither company has suggested a fix although many people have complained!

Waste of money and time

Would not connect. Reset it 2 dozen times. Nothing worked. China-made.

Mrbill

100% useless app. I only gave it a one star because -5 was not an option!

Garbage brand switching to somebody else

This stuff never connects nor stays connected do not go with this brand

Never connects

Don’t buy! They either shut off in error or they never connect to WiFi. Do not waste your time with this brand.

Can’t connect to wifi at all

Horrible app

It’s a good thing. If you ever need it. It won’t work!

I tried to contact the company, but I have,
Not heard anything from them. It’s a good,
Product, however don’t delete it from your phone. I downloaded it again and it’s
Very hard to get a response from myTouchSmart.

Dumb App

This “smart”’app is too dumb to know that daylight saving time has ended. The same thing happened when DST started back in the spring. Dusk to dawn program for landscaping and exterior lights is now 1 hour off.

First review for any app I’m writing.

This app has no use, in setting up the universal remote I bought. The box told me to install this app and follow instructions. No instructions were shown to me upon installation. But I’m uninstalling, all I had to do was put batteries in the remote and it worked. No button pushing needed.

Don’t work with mesh networks

Can’t force onto 2.4GHz, so you’re basically hosed

Great Devices and App

I have been using this app and the devices for 5 years. I have lamps, Christmas trees, outdoor Christmas lights, etc which can be controlled through Alexa or the app. I wish there was an Apple Watch app.

Don’t bother just return the prouduct

I’m on call number 3 to customer service and magically get disconnected every time.. and the product doesn’t connect

Don’t waste your time or money

This app is absolutely garbage! Works maybe 1 out of 10 tries. No issue connecting it, it’s when it comes to actually turning the devices on/off from your phone. And don’t even get me started on the timer function. Absolute trash. I promise do yourself a favor and skip this app and any products associated with it

Doesn’t work

bought this and no joy at all. Instructions and support are indeed non existent. waste of money all around. Unit did NOT connect to either the Eero, or the Netgear wifi at 2mhz..did not come up on the phone with wifi or bluetooth. Does not work.

My new switch is junk?

Just installed several of these switches. App won’t even let me select the option to add device. I tap it and nothing happens.

krapp

this app is horrible do not purchase anything from this company

Product update

Needs a product update to work with newer wifi 6 routers.

Don’t waste your money

Don’t waste you money. App is a blazing pile of crap. Worked for awhile but then crapped out. Ever buying from this company again.

Used to really like my plugs and this app

Until the app hadn’t been tended to in over a year and now moving locations, nothing will can be connected as new. I can only imagine the limitations this company implements on itself by not keeping up with iOS’s constant evolutions.

Get with the times

Please and compatibility with HomeKit via the app. I should not have to be forced to throw out these wonderful switches because they don’t work with HomeKit. Alexa and Google are garbage in my opinion.
