Easy to look on iPad
This tuner is really good at its visual expression. If you can test your violin, it displays how the harmonic of the violin.
Helpful but needs some improvement
I really like this program overall. The difficulty I experience is that there seems to be a lag time between the time I tune and the time it registers on the screen. This makes it difficult to know when I’ve actually tuned it properly and frequently I have to retune because the pitch is now too sharp. Also it could “listen” to the pitch a little longer.

You can try changing the Tuner Sensibility settings from the main settings menu and moving the microphone closer to the instrument. We are aware of this and we will consider it for future updates of the app. Thanks for your much appreciated feedback.

Accurate easy-to-read tuning even when there's background noise. I spent a long time looking for the perfect tuner and am happy with this one.

Essential FFT
Not so much as a tuner, (which is fine), but for the excellent FFT! This is the best FFT for general use on iOS. I teach acoustics and I use this FFT for live demonstrations of the analysis of sound. The FFT graph is smooth and easy to use. “Seeing” noise, or the harmonic series of instruments is great regardless if you’re using an iPhone or an iPad Pro. Due to the high resolution of the iPad Pro display, screen captures as videos are high resolution too.

I use this app to tune my viola and it works great. There are many different visual options for when you tune. I compared my viola to my piano (which is tuned) and it was on POINT!!!!

Looks like a good tuner, but needs an iPhone X update
Looks great but some parts are unusable for me on an iPhone X because they are behind the notch.

Great app but hanging out for iPhone X support
I have used this app for a long long time as it is superb! Love the visualizations of audio - really helps me understand the harmonica of my instrument - often voice!
Just a shame that with an iPhone X it doesn’t work properly as so many user interface elements are impacted by the notch at the top of the screen.
Hope that can be fixed soon!

Almost perfect
The spectrogram feature and alternative temperaments make it certainly worthwhile, although the lack of instruments available for direct tuning might be frustrating.

An excellent app. I love an instrument in tune but I also love the images of the sound this app provides. You can see frequencies of harmonics. Excellent for tuning xylophone bars (as well as guitars)

Good and accurate tuner
This tuner is really on the money! The difference between this and others is it has several looks that give you options as to how you would like to view your results. I would recommend to any player who needs a quick, accurate device. Amazing a smart phone can do everything for you except wipe your arse! Enjoy!
