A nightmare to cancel their reoccurring charges

Do not install. This is a scam. They will immediately upsell you on additional services. You get no interest on your postings without paying more than the base subscription rate. Cancelling the base subscription rate is nearly impossible. There is no way to do it in their app or website. “Cancel at any time.” Is simply not something they want you to be able to do. I have made requests over email multiple times and they are still attempting to charge me. Be incredibly wary of this platform.

SCAM

This app is a scam that will attempt to take money from you account every month but the app doesn’t work and they state in the beginning that they do not offer refunds. DO NOT USE. May have been a real thing at one time but it definitely is operating as a scam right now in 2024z

100% recommended!

Thanks to this app I got a job as a nanny with a great family! I am very happy to work for them. the app is easy to use and helps you find a job according to your needs. I absolutely recommend this app!!

Useless App

I used nannypod services a few years ago before the nannypod forum was replaced by the app version. I have requested services and the app states that it is locating a caregiver and it disables being able to make another booking. No notification is given to confirm a booking or one being declined. I also had to pay a credit within the nannypod app. I have asked for a refund, with no response. I have asked for guidance as to how to use the app and shared why it isn’t user friendly, with no response. I believe this app is fraudulent and a way to get users to upload money that will never be returned. My next step will be reporting this to the better business bureau.

Awful

When I signed up as a nanny it asked me for all my information, including my bank account to setup payments for any gigs I received. After all that it told me my account was awaiting approval and if I want to log out. I logged out to see if that would quicken the process, but it won’t let me log in and keeps saying “something went wrong” and that my password and email don’t match up. It all seems like a scam to me.

Lisa Zemola is the owner of this “company” which i would really use that word lightly. She talked to me like a middle schooler, i really couldn’t believe it. I would choose any other business over this. I would really rethink your decision.

Scam?!

This app wanted me to enter my credit card info and pay without showing me any substantive candidates. Literally gave me a first and last name and that was it. I am not paying or scheduling anything without having information about the nanny or some way of communicating with them to see if they are a good fit for my family. This app is trash- don’t waste your time as I just did!

Immediate, quality service

I needed a baby sitter for Labor Day weekend; the sign up process was quick and painless and I also found someone I liked within a few hours. Definitely recommend.

Great app with a great purpose

This app is easy to use and helps you find a babysitter/nanny short or long term. It’s convenient and the cost is nothing compared to the difficulty of finding help for a date night or help while you work during the day.

Amazing customer service

Kevin at NannyPod is outstanding. I needed a babysitter on short notice, and I needed to find the sitter while I was out of town. Kevin was immediately in touch to walk me through the app, speak with me about the process, discuss app and babysitting options and even put out feelers on his own to make sure that I’d be able to get the babysitter I needed.

The app was easy to use, and the fees were entirely reasonable. I also love that I could filter for hourly rate, distance from my location and a variety of other specialty needs and wants, including CPR certifications. This is such a convenient and time-saving option for parents. I’ll absolutely use the app and NannyPod again.
