Great

It’s great actually it’s not bad I work at Chick-fil-A as well and everything works fine for me

eat mor chiken 🐣

🐓

It works

I work at Chick-fil-A and this is what we use for scheduling. It is very simple and easy to use, I can see who my shift leader is and I can even look at the dashboard to see who I am working with that day. It is very easy to contact leaders and team members with this app. I would recommend this app to any business looking for something like this.

Access code

New users can’t enter access code! whatever glitch this is it needs to be fixed.

just keeps getting worse

this app was great when it was first installed. but every update, it just gets worse. there’s so much lag, and it won’t let me continue to the app after acknowledging announcements. when i’m on a shift and have to open a checklist on nation, my app is unusable. please fix this, it’s actively hindering me and making it impossible for me to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Pretty good

Pretty great, but they should add an ability where you can prefer not to work, but are still willing to if needed

Love it!

So organized

AI Integration is extremely disheartening, user-interface is cluttered

A person who knew me at least professionally was previously responsible for my schedule, someone I could look in the eye and communicate with. Now an artificial intelligence is responsible for dictating when I wake up and come in for work and what roles I do. Hooray!! The app is also ugly but that’s no change from any of the previous apps so no points docked for that I guess but there were no points earned. I hate you.

AI Slop

Definitely coded by AI the UI/UX is horrendous and terrible to navigate and find anything

Awful

This app it’s so stupid, why we can not delete messages or groups? I have a lot of messages and I cannot delete. So stupid, why don’t have the function?

Horrible app

The UI is horrible. Basic features are missing. The app is incredibly slow. It has stupid AI features like writing ai bios about employees. Did I mention the UI was horrible? Everything takes 10x longer to do on this app vs competitors because of how bad it is. 0/10

Notification Issues

I try to keep my Home Screen as red-bubble free as possible. But this app is where all my work communication comes from, so I have to keep notifications turned on. Problem is, even if I check all my messages multiple times, reset the calendar filter, tap all my notifications as ‘read’, the red dot still doesn’t go away. This is very frustrating. And all Google will say is that there might be an unread message or an update. It’s fully updated on my end, and as I’ve said, I have cleared all my notifications. Very frustrating. For the love of all things holy, fix it.

Made my job harder.

Controls are wonky, UI horribly; HS team was light years better.

Sucks

This sucks, the setup doesn’t work half the time, and you get scheduled when your not able to work. Hotschedules works way better

Makes my job so much easier!

I absolutely love Nation! I’m an Executive Director and it makes my job so much easier and the developer takes so many ideas we have to make them happen. I’m excited to see what more they come up with!

Too many updates

You have to update every few days, it’s too much!!!!

Extremely sensitive

When trying to assign team members to a position you can’t touch the position with out it moving. There is lil need for them
to move at all. Let alone for them to be so extremely sensitive. The sensitivity became worse with the update. Please fix it!

Too much focus on visual, not enough on practical use

The app looks pretty on a surface level, but the UI is awful, the shorthand is different from every other app on the market, and that’s putting aside the weird design choices made for sake of visual uniqueness (such as names of the people who sent a message showing below their message, which also sometimes crops out at the bottom of the screen if someone is typing).

The shift leader menu is also entirely separate from the normal menus, so if you want to review what training a team member has before scheduling them somewhere you have to jump through about 6 menus to check that information. For scheduling as well the scheduling screen takes up three separate menus and if you want to put someone in a position for an awkward time slot you have to edit it manually, except it sometimes switches the position you’re currently looking at without warning and constantly tries to jump to other spots on the schedule rather than just letting you edit. Editing hours is also only doable half of the time because it just ignores your input a good amount of the time and just chooses its own hours off of the remaining time for that position.

Everything is buried in weird places, it took me like 3 months to even find my notification settings and even following finding them they are not fine tuned enough to be of any value (it’s either all or nothing). NOTIFICATIONS DON’T CLEAR. There is no way to actually get the notifications to go away after reading them outside of just force closing the app and the channels that conversations happen in multiple times until it decides to work. Even then that will only remove the symbol from your unlocked screen, you will *still* have the push notifications on your lock screen and you will have to clear those manually frequently if your work channels are active.

There are like 4 separate buttons to press that open additional options/settings/menus that make it really difficult to navigate. Beyond that, places that look like they should be interactable aren’t, so you’re left wondering where on earth to find a specific setting because you can’t find the right dropdown that it’s hidden behind.

This isn’t even everything I’ve had to handle with this app. It is just unfortunately *so* dysfunctional that I really can’t even bring it all to words at once. I really wouldn’t recommend this app, it has so many issues that never seem to fix themselves despite them patching it basically every day (at times it feels like more than once a day).
