as lame as an app can get
I’m not sure where the excellent reviews come from maybe Apple is becoming like Amazon when it comes to reviews but this is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used.
If I was to tell someone in a few words how much this app blows, I’d say “it doesn’t even send you live notifications”.
No notifications for accepted offers. No notifications for new load matches. Nothing. Just absolutely nothing other than spam pop-ups which has been the same ole stuff from the past few years.
There’s a lot more things that they can improve on but if the app developers are getting paid for not doing the work they should be, then why do the work, right?

Makes me login to enable tracking
I used to be able to enable tracking without having an account, now whenever i get assigned a load it makes me sign into an account just to see the load/enable tracking. Even more annoying when you have your broker calling every couple minutes trying to get you to enable tracking when you’ve explained to them your issues with the app. Gonna keep this uninstalled til issues resolved.

It’s a good app. Only thing I would add is if you could see available loads where the carrier is dropping off and ratings of the shipper and receiver. Working with CHR is easy.

Agents lowballing and competing with online booking
I have been working with this broker for several years,I was out for 2 years but recently began to operate again.I notice on too many occasions that agents are competing with the online booking process.They call after I bid online and offer a lower rate that one offer online.They lack integrity.This is so disheartening

For the past two years or so, nine out of ten loads I hauled were for CH Robinson, and 99% off the time I didn’t have any issues and I always got paid on time - within 24 hours most of the time, max 48 hours.
The trouble started a little over a couple months ago, when they really started pushing LoadPay through TriumphPay. At first, they started paying within 2-3 days for every load, nothing within 24 hours anymore, but then all of a sudden- I had to wait 4-5 days on every single load.
Not only that, they also went up on the quick pay fee. Why? I guess so owner operators would get tired of not getting paid on time and sign up for LoadPay.
I have decided not to do business with them anymore. The last load I booked with them was almost a month ago and it was then that I realized that other brokers are paying way better than CH Robinson. I had just gotten too comfortable doing business with them that I never bothered to check elsewhere.
If you’re reading this, get out of your comfort zone. CH Robinson isn’t the same as last year, or even from 6 months ago. There’s a lot of toxicity brewing at CH Robinson and if you haven’t noticed it already, you will start noticing it soon. But why wait until SHTF? Have your backup plan ready.
Last but not least, never do more than 50 percent of business with just one broker. You should be on good terms with at least 3-4 brokers. Loyalty goes a long way, but CH Robinson is not the one to appreciate it.

I’ve been working with C.H. Robinson since 2004, and it has always been one of my favorite companies among the thousands of brokers I’ve dealt with. I’ve never had to wait more than 48 hours for a payment—until now.
Recently, I noticed that C.H. Robinson has started factoring their loads, and I believe this is a serious misstep. In the past two months, things have changed drastically. I currently have multiple loads that have been pending for over a week—some even two weeks. For the first time ever, I had to call C.H. Robinson to request a payment release. For the first time, I’ve waited beyond the usual 48-hour window.
I called and was told, “The money will be released tomorrow.” But now that tomorrow is today, it’s still showing as “processing.” This is disappointing, and I believe factoring is the wrong direction for a company that used to pride itself on reliability. I’m not happy with this new service experience.

App works but……
It works perfect searching loads but it’s bad registering on time delivery’s, on time arrivals to appointment’s and that affects my score…. It works great for CH Robinson…. They need to work on a huge update!

Easy to use and useful.
Very cheap freights nowadays
App stuck several times very cheap freight as compared to load board not suitable for owner operator most of loads are those which could not covered via volume carriers or delivery date is like 6-9 days ca to east coast and returning freight very cheap sometimes 95 cents per mile and air miles often miscalculated miles or air miles do not want to review as negative but it’s suitable for rich carriers

Garbage
To have this nonsense tracking you like as if it pays for all the extra nonsense . The app glitches , you can only load one paper at a time especially on BOLs with multiple papers it will only let you upload one per subject. It deletes what you upload maybe due to a limit of what you can upload. It takes long to upload documents. The app glitches and shows you’re not on a load at times.
