Utter Rubbish
If you have bought one of these dash cams, return it immediately as supporting app does not work - at all. You cannot set up, format the SD card, enter the password or actually do anything. Utter rubbish and absolutely embarrassing. Apple should remove this from the store, it’s basically fraudulent and unconscionable to offer something that is basically a lie. Garbage and frustrating. Would have preferred to give NO STARS.

Apart from it being 2022 and the app itself looks like it’s from 2011. UI needs a major overhaul and polish. Overall I’m very disappointed in first impression. I just purchased the dash cam today, followed all instructions on how to connect to wifi and install the app to use the wifi connection..
And unfortunately, like everyone else.. It doesn’t even work! Basically renders the wifi/phone app part of the dash cam dead.

Does not appear to work on current iOS
I’m under the assumption that this does not work on the latest version of iOS. I’m currently running 15.3.1
I connect to the dash cam wifi, and then open the app. When I press on the camera preview it tells me no camera is connected, and asks if I would like to connect now. I say yes and nothing happens.
I assume this is due to security changes in iOS. Please update this app so we can actually use it.

Defective app
Like everyone else, could not connect the devise through the app. Unable to enter password. I installed the GPS version instead and installed in seconds.
App is not fit for purpose
As with the other review, this app is a total waste doesn’t work and should be removed from apple App Store, developers are obviously ignorant to the issues as the last review was 2 years ago and still the same issues exist.

As mentioned by everyone else the App is useless and the camera wifi just keeps dropping out.

Can’t get a local wifi connection to the device
Nanocam+ App on iPhone installed, can see the network Dashcam under Apple wifi connections and connects with a tick BUT having to manually enter wifi details again into the app and it won’t accept a password more than 5 characters.
Double-tapped power button on cam and says wifi is on.
Correct WiFI details are entered into app (after I reduced my wifi security to 5 characters) and still refuses to connect inside the app. The app just fails to respond after you hit ‘setup’.
I need to set the correct date and time in the device as it’s dated 2019 on record (why it can’t auto update date and time off GPS is beyond me).
I can’t see that I’m doing something wrong.
Device is recording okay to SD card and image quality is good but the developer really needs to work on their WiFi interface inside their app.
Their ‘Help’ file is useless.
Expectations fell well short of this Dashcam.

Got the dash cam but the app does not work. Send the camera back as can not Connect to the camera at all to setup or review any footage waste of time waste and money.

I bought the camera, installed everything, and downloaded the app. Only to find out, the app does not work, at all...

Out of date instructions
I’m currently working through the instructions to connect to my phone (Iphone 11) but the instructions are providing the wrong password to connect to WIFI. (12345678)
This doesn’t work to get the Dashcam to talk to the phone.
I’ve tried everything I can think of to overcome this and found that although the dashcam wifi attaches to the phone without the password, I can’t use the app to monitor the dashcam without a password.
So.. a big MINUS for the ability of Nanocam to update changes and make basic communication possible between iPhone and camera.
More than 2 stars is the max I can give this app and they’re for the functionality of the standalone camera.

Works, barely
The app itself works. It can connect to the dashcam and get files from it.
What it can’t do is share those files outside of the app. It instead shares a text string of the videos location on the phone.
You also can’t control videos. No play/pause functionality, and you can’t scrub through a video

Absolutely frustrating product to use as is non-functional. The only way to set up the camera and view live stream is to connect to its WiFi, which you are not able to do on an iPhone, it just simply doesn’t connect. This means the app is useless, you can’t access any of its features, and you can’t set up the dash cam. It is a $200 plastic tube stuck to my windscreen.
