Something needs to change

Hi there, thank you for sharing this. We’re sorry to hear how stressful this has been. While routes and service availability are managed by the transit provider, we’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the appropriate team. Thanks!

ADA friendly
Schedule
Once everything’s in place, the app goes searching for a ride to match up with the request. Instead of stating this on the screen, you get to watch two gray bars that have a gray shade moving back back-and-forth across the bar. This tells you absolutely nothing. Since setting up the ride could take several minutes, this confuses the user as to whether or not they request has been accept.
How about putting up some words like “Matching Request to Ride“, or maybe something like “Processing Request Please Standby”. This text could be accompanied by the gray bars so the user knows the process is running.
Removing the word “schedule” and not having text described that the process is running , seems to indicate this software developer is allergic to text on the screen.
Once passed the confusion, the app does its job. However, I’m leery of the future when the software developer continues to make changes that do nothing to improve the app.
