Something needs to change

I loved this app in the beginning not so much. As a person who relies fully on public transportation replacing a route by this was not the solution I have to constantly stress wheather I will get my kids in time or if they will be marked late even though I make sure to schedule a bus more than an hour early

Response from developer

Hi there, thank you for sharing this. We’re sorry to hear how stressful this has been. While routes and service availability are managed by the transit provider, we’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the appropriate team. Thanks!

Timing needs to be worked on

Need to schedule a ride? Perfect! Tells you it’s gonna be there at 315. All of a sudden it’s getting there at 3 and congratulations! You missed your ride! Seriously I don’t understand how it tells you when it’s gonna be there and if you don’t check every two seconds it’s changes. And if you have to be somewhere by a certain time the app makes sure to tell you it will get there a minute before you have to be there just for it to be late by twenty minutes. It’s absolutely insane and if you’re gonna tell us the ride is gonna be there at a certain time STICK TO IT!

Schedule

When I first looked at this app and considered having my special needs son use it a couple of weeks ago, on the main screen was the word “Schedule”. This made sense and was the first thing that would be done. Now there’s a little icon that looks like a clock instead of the word “Schedule“. This is a prime example of a software developer messing with an app and changing something that did not need to be changed. Job security?
Once everything’s in place, the app goes searching for a ride to match up with the request. Instead of stating this on the screen, you get to watch two gray bars that have a gray shade moving back back-and-forth across the bar. This tells you absolutely nothing. Since setting up the ride could take several minutes, this confuses the user as to whether or not they request has been accept.
How about putting up some words like “Matching Request to Ride“, or maybe something like “Processing Request Please Standby”. This text could be accompanied by the gray bars so the user knows the process is running.
Removing the word “schedule” and not having text described that the process is running , seems to indicate this software developer is allergic to text on the screen.
Once passed the confusion, the app does its job. However, I’m leery of the future when the software developer continues to make changes that do nothing to improve the app.

Awful

This service has been active in my area for a week and it’s garbage. 2 rides have been canceled by the driver due to sheer stupidity / laziness. One even drove past us and didn’t care. The virtual stops are in awkward places that are not public sometimes. And not to mention when the drivers do come, they are waaaaay later than they say they’ll be. No way to complain in app or text the driver to ask why they’ve been sitting at one spot for 20 minutes. Garbage.
