Good app and does what it is designed for

Pro- scanning using desktop scanning for MAc OS is quick, allows some editing and enables you to select where to store (desktop, cloud or near cloud). And the size of scan is far more efficient that the very bloated huge file size document scans used on native Apple app for iPhone.

Downside is that for best cloud, one cannot choose neat cloud storage location. Definitely need to be able to select jurisdictions outside of the increasingly lawless and privacy dismissive USA.

Since the beginning

Been using neat pretty much since the beginning, with the old Neat desktop scanner. He has developed over the years to a great streamlined version. Easy to use as well as gather reports. Highly recommend it.

Clueless

I question whether the developers of this software have ever actually run a business. As a company, you cannot claim to provide “immediate customer service” M-F from 9-8 ET. Those are the hours that your customers are working. Perhaps be available earlier and on the weekends. The format is limited and can’t be customized in a useful manner. My receipts for all of my expenses are no more organized and accessible in Neat’s digital format than they are in my shoebox with a notecard with a running tally.

Easy way to stay organized

I've been using Neat for many years and was thrilled when they released a version for the iPad. It could not be easier ... open the app ... take a photo of your receipt ... identify the correct category/folder (that you create!) ... then shred the paper. It's all saved and organized.

Great Receipt Tracking

I have been with NEAT since the beginning or pretty close to it. It’s a great way to track receipt’s. As an independent truck driver I have a lot of them.

I have been using Neat since you first came out with your portable scanner that you fed one piece of paper at a time. The improvement in your software and your scanner abilities has saved me an incredible amount of time and space. Not having superior technology background I have found your Webinars to be informative and understandable, I am grateful for them. Since you have begun Webinars, I have discovered many more uses for my NEAT system, well beyond my original expectations. Over the years you have made improvements that I have loved and made my life easier and others that left questions in my mind and so I didn’t use them. It is tax season, 25 years ago it took me a week or two to gather all my information to prepare for filing taxes. Now it takes less than two hours. I press the report button. I fill out my requirements and I have everything ready to go. That alone makes the Program worth while.

Error in logging in

I’ve been trying to login and I only get a “Cloud API is unavailable” message. Cannot locate any guidance on support page for this issue. I was a longtime user of Neat and wanted to migrate to this product. Nice concept, but poor execution.
