Fishy app
So I had this app for a while a now. Ive went inactive for a while so I had put all my trailers to not be active and I logged off. 6 months later I’m getting a notification that someone wants to book my trailer. So I logged in and as well I get a notification that the app admin wants to update new banking info .Thank god I’m lazy and didn’t do it right then. It turn out to be a scam. So after that I’ve made a renter profile and sure enough my trailer was listed right there. I’ve made sure to check inactive and nope it didn’t work at all. Just beware guys don’t post bc your trailers will be floating around the web even if you didn’t consent to it. Finally they made a delete account setting so will see how well that works.

5 stars for Neighbors Trailer
The app is perfect for what I need. They keep my trailers rented out most of the time. Neighbors Trailer offers the features and safety that other apps don’t offer.
Love this app!
We have 4 trailers that we rent through this app! It works flawlessly for us!
Trailer rental
Michael was very prompt, respectful and friendly, a great guy all around.
Trailer owners customer service sucks
On April 29th I received a call from a customer wanting to make a reservation for Saturday to Sunday, the app didn’t let me select any of the days even Friday so I called, the person on the phone couldn’t do anything to help, she said to email, I did, the email was sent on the 29th, it’s now the 30th and I can’t rent my trailer because no one did anything to help with the apps bug, I did not have a lock day

Trailer Owners Are Better Off Using Facebook Marketplace
I would not recommend Neighbor’s Trailer to trailer owners. The platform takes a large commission, around 20%, but the service, owner protection, notifications, and overall rental process do not justify that fee.
The app feels poorly designed for owners. One major issue is the closeout process. If a renter returns your trailer and you are not immediately available to inspect it, the platform starts sending pressure-filled reminders saying it has been 24 hours, then 48 hours, and that the rental is “under review.” That makes it feel like the owner is being penalized for not closing out the rental fast enough, even when the owner has not had a fair chance to inspect the trailer.
In my case, I was pressured to close out a rental before I was able to inspect the trailer in person. Afterward, I discovered the taillight connector cord had been ripped out and damaged. The renter never communicated pickup, return, or damage. Once the rental was closed out, there was no meaningful way to fix the issue or report it properly. That is a terrible system for owners, especially when trailers can easily be damaged and the owner may not be standing there the second it gets returned.
The notification system is also weak. For example, when blocked dates are about to end and your trailer is going to become visible/available again, the app does not properly notify you. That is basic functionality owners need. If I block my trailer off, I should be clearly warned before it automatically becomes available again.
Overall, the platform feels like it takes a large cut while putting too much risk and hassle on the owner. The app is not smooth, the owner protections are lacking, and the rental process creates unnecessary stress.
I have had a much better experience renting through Facebook Marketplace. I can communicate directly, screen people better, set my own terms, and manage the rental without a platform taking a large commission while offering little value in return. For trailer owners, I would recommend using Facebook Marketplace instead.

Super Service
As a trailer owner, I am extremely satisfied with this platform and all that it offers for both the owner and renter!
Good app but
They micromanage conversation. I understand why, but it gets annoying sometimes customers ask for pictures of the trailers and because of my trailers have logos on them the pictures will get flagged because the app thinks I’m trying to share my information
Mchlruff
They are very instrumental in booking the rental
Trailer rental
Great customer, would love to do business again
Thief's
Used it a couple times, always bad customers who return your asset in horrible shape. The last booking I had I did not start it in time & the renter picked up my trailer & wrecked it, they didn't want to pay for anything so the kicked me off the app & deleted the booking. I highly recommend you avoid using this app at all costs. Trust me I've never seen anything so unprofessional in my life.

Horrible people
Don't expect any kind of real help from these people. Customer service is basically non excitant. The quick chat people don't know anything if it's even a real person. I can't say enough bad things about these people running this platform.
Great App!
We love the ease of being able to offer our trailer out to other families in our community!
A++++
Great platform, every time I’ve had an issue I call and they provide great support
Penalized for Protecting My Own Property
I wanted to share my experience with Neighbor’s Trailer as a trailer owner, in case it helps others understand some of the limitations in how the platform handles safety-based concerns.
I list my trailer on several platforms, and I take screening seriously. I recently had a renter whose behavior raised multiple red flags — mismatched names between initial contact and his verified ID, questionable details about the trip, and inconsistencies that suggested possible misuse of my trailer. Any responsible owner would have been hesitant.
When I went to cancel the reservation, the system warned me about a 30% cancellation fee but also stated that exceptions could be made. What it did not explain is what qualifies for an exception or that the platform expects the renter to cancel the booking in safety-related situations. This is information an owner only learns after the fact.
Because of how the system is designed, I had to make a decision in real time to protect my property. The platform gives owners no way to fully vet a renter before accepting a booking — you can’t see the driver’s license or verify identity until after you’ve already committed. That alone puts owners at a disadvantage.
Despite explaining the situation in detail, Neighbor’s Trailer would not approve my exception. They reduced the fee slightly but ultimately charged me for choosing not to hand over my trailer to someone who made me feel uncomfortable. Their customer service responses were polite, but they repeated the same policy explanation without acknowledging how the system design contributed to the problem.
I understand the need for policies. But owners shouldn’t be financially punished for protecting their equipment — especially when the platform lacks proper tools for screening renters up front. Clear guidelines, transparent exceptions, and better support for owners would go a long way.
Because of this, I’ve decided to discontinue my use of Neighbor’s Trailer and move to other platforms that offer more screening options and better support for owners in safety-based situations.
I’m sharing this experience so other owners can make an informed decision. Neighbor’s Trailer may work for some, but in my case, it left me feeling unprotected and penalized for doing the responsible thing.

Terrible company ! Do not use!
My trailer was stolen. No support. They take 5 days to pay. And they don’t support the renters only the people who are renting. Terrible company. I would never use again. Everyone is starting tech companies to get rich but do not care about the people.
20% of your Profit and 90% inconvenience
I’ve been using this app as an owner/renter for a while now. Multiple rentals and renters, and a lot of time spent with the app. In most cases securing the rental is pretty streight forward. Dealing with renters, beginning and ending the rental okay when the app works correctly. The app has had a few revisions but is still very clunky. It works well sometimes and others not at all, some resulting in business lost. When you do have an issue the customer support is pretty terrible. You’re on your own and the insurance is more to make you feel warm and fuzzy about renting out your things. Customer service is essentially a 9a-5p so when there is a problem they don’t exist, hard to get a hold of or have extensive lead times in their response. If you’re looking to rent your equipment I would suggest a different app. The added frustration and the inconvenience that you will quickly run into are debatably not worth the revenue and wear and tear on your equipment.

Must use if u like to save money
We were looking for a similar app for the past couple of years to save money on my move and stop using U-Haul's expensive rentals
Great service
I have been renting my utility trailer out for about 2 yrs now. Renting it out has now paid for the trailer and even put a little in my pocket. I love that renters buy insurance. I’ve only had one minor damage claim and it was paid immediately. I would like to see more marketing to get more renters. All in all, very happy with the service.
