Unreliable and urgently needs improving
A poor app. Worst aspect is it lists activities that aren’t taking place. So annoying that you turn up for an activity scheduled in the app and then it doesn’t take place with no notification that it’s been cancelled particularly when you could have been doing an alternative activity.
Also only shows you the next activity you are booked on and not a list or diary of your bookings in the days ahead.

Needs more work on it
This app could be so much better, for a start please can you share any activities that are booked by the people sharing a room under that room number in the app. There also needs to be a waiting list facility if someone drops out of something you are interested in doing you should be able to get a notification.
Also would be good if you could login to your bookings around the resort rather than having to have your phones on you all the time. It is a holiday!!!

Alana Beach Resort
Having been on several Neilson holidays, we found the new app an improvement on the old booking system. Much easier to book, amend and cancel activities online and saves a lot of time … We were in Croatia Alana Resort in Aug 25 and the app worked in the main as expected. The only problem we had was it didn’t clear notifications even if you’d read them so you kept having to go into app to check there wasn’t a new notification which you hadn’t read when they wasn’t so a little frustrating and time wasting, and agree with some of other reviews that calendar integration would be a useful improvement.

Buggy
Bug. Activity booking defaults to today even when a future date is selected.
Expected behaviour: booking is for the day you selected.
Lacking calendar integration with phone so notifications are poor.
Notifications don’t cancel even after the event.
Slow to open/update, particularly on poor hotel WiFi.
A good idea but needs investment, just like their kit on their holidays.

Good bit would be better if….
Currently in Levante. Whilst it’s helps to have access to everything online, and the stability issues appear to be resolved, the app would be even better if you have the option for bookings to be populated in your phone calendar and/or a reminder notification pops up. Also it doesn’t seem to pull together bookings from all room members into one place so if my husband books something on his app, I can’t see it.

Unstable, often down.
Useful when it works but can’t book majority of activities, information for kids clubs often incorrect or just missing.
How did this get past UI/UX review?
Awful design, almost to the point of being unusable. Good to be able to book online/in app, but why can’t I see everything at a glance, so I avoid double booking? When you choose a day and then go to book the activity, it defaults to today, instead of the day you want. Doesn’t remove cancelled sessions from your activity view, cluttering the interface.
Needs a LOT of work to be useful.

Unstable
Really like the idea of having an app to view and book activities but it’s currently unstable and often crashes. No alternative to use when that happens which is really frustrating. Needs improvement.

So brilliant to finally be able to book from the comfort of the sunbed or bar with a cocktail instead of standing in more queues at the start of the holiday. Love that I can see the schedule day by day and it’s now live information instead of a scrap of paper that couldn’t be updated easily, My spa bookings are now through the roof tho 🤣

Game changer
Great to be able to see all the details of my booked activities in the app, much easier to plan and lots of details on the available sessions.
Nice idea but not ready yet.
Currently in Levante, Rhodes. The app is completely unstable, often won’t open, frequently crashes mid-use or tells you there is a ‘key error’ when you think you’ve finally got close to signing up for something. No programmes elsewhere, digital or otherwise so it’s impossible to know what is going on where and no alternative sign-up system, so you can’t sign up for activities. Wasting precious holiday time constantly battling with the app. A bit of an embarrassing mess. Zero stars.

So many basic errors
Has anyone tested this at scale? There are also some very basic navigation errors. Given its sole purpose is to book activities it kind of doesn’t.
