Home use
Work fine,
Only feedback would be if there was option to show that the alarm is armed or disarmed.

Notifications
Will this app ever be able to send notifications and allow to add more than one system?
Absolute Garbage!!!
How can you possibly charge $22 for this app knowing it doesn’t even work! Only updates sensor status once you do a hard reset of the app. Can’t arm or disarm the system which was the whole reason I bought it! This should be removed from the App Store!
The App doesn’t work
The App stopped working in the last week or so.
No Notifications - fail
Alarm apps need 3 basic functions at a bare minimum. 1) Ability to ‘arm’ the alarm, 2) Ability to ‘disarm’ the alarm; and 3) Push Notifications to the App (Ness iComms) whenever the intruder alarm is activated.
This app does 1 & 2 above but does not provide push notifications - so as an app and as a result the Ness D8/16XD alarm fails miserably to meet the most basic requirements of a 21st century security alarm.

Push Notifications Please
I’ve been running this app for at least 5-6 years now and it has come a long way from what it was. My biggest annoyance has been fixed which was the app not updating so disabling the alarm you had to shut the app and reopen to get the updated status, so thanks for fixing that. Other reviews mention static IP addresses but you can use DNS address.
One request, developers please please please implement push notifications it would make the app so much better and the whole system much more functional.

Very Basic - Not worth the money
No push notification of activity. Need a static address if you want to use it away from your network. Have to reboot to see change of state. Needs a lot of work for a app of this price.
IPHONE 11 PRO NOT SUPPORTED
Works on my iphoneX well, but not on new phones, please fix!!
multiple alarm panel system intergration.
Simple to use, great app.
Lacks the option of having multiple alarm systems. In my case I have 2 systems, 1 for house, 1 for workshop. I wish I could control both of them on the app but unfortunately app only has option for 1 system.
If this was added to have multiple systems then it would be Awesome!

Useless
Need to select alarm panel type to view zones every time you open app no notification when alarm trigged need to reload app to update status
Great app
The latest version keeps converting back to 8 zones when I login I have a 16 zone panel
Basically works
Update to this, zone issue seemed to have fixed itself , statuses now updating live without restarting app. Still think the app should be cheaper or free considering you have to buy the extra hardware and that doesn’t do anything without the app.
Essentially it works but as indicated by others the update once you have the app open seems to have issues, at least with the zone statuses, you have to close the app and relaunch to refresh the zone statuses. Maybe it’s because the zones statuses are shown on a separate screen as the icons on the main screen seem to update live fine ie power fail, armed status etc Also some clear instructions would be appreciated, like what does the home/monitor button do ? Does seem to do anything. Also I’ve just noticed that on my iPad the app shows a speaker icon in the top left where the iPhone doesn’t, what does the icon mean ? App needs work especially for $14, as it sits it should be free as part of the panel as the nesscomm software is.

App is over priced
Considering we spend so much on the actual security alarm system plus adding the remote operation controller unit, the app should be free included as part of remote control unit purchase, this $13.99 is rip off..
Ness App
Useless app - paid for security company (they were awesome) to install IP module and configure for use on phone but app doesn’t send notifications if alarm goes off. Support centre no help either- stated removed notification on purpose but gave no sensible reason.
Avoid until notifications are fixed.

Push Notifications Required!
I have this setup at a holiday home, so I’m not there very often. I get calls from the neighbor when the alarm goes off... would be much more useful if I was alerted and disarmed the alarm before the neighbours had to call me!
Outdated
Terribly old app.
Excellent app!
Have purchased a Ness alarm system and they said it does have an app for my iPhone and it works. So, have purchased an IP232 module, have connected it to my network and it worked, and it works reliable for a year now.
Those who understand comms know that there is a certain configuration requirement for your network router to have configured, so your phone app can find it over the internet.
Now for those who reckon that your Ness alarm system should be able to send you push notifications over the internet I say it is possible IF you have engaged a security centre to collect the notifications first and send you a sms for example, OR maybe in the future when everyone will have assigned a static IPv6 address to their mobile devices.
From me five stars!

Stil no push notifications
After several years this app still cannot do push notifications. I understand that push is not the most reliable method, but it’s better than nothing.
Come on Ness - rollout push notifications for us.

Almost Perfect
Great app! Have been using it for years and I love it. I use the app to open my garage door via the auxiliary outputs. Great for putting my motorcycle away; however, if I’m wearing non touchscreen compatible gloves, I have to stop, take my gloves off, and load the app. Please, please consider enabling Siri shortcuts on this app!

Missing vital features
This app lets down the whole Ness security package.
To be a suitable solution the app needs:
1 - multiple alarm panel support.
2- push event notifications
The only reason the app receives 1 star is because it does communicate to the alarm panel.
