Took my money

My lease expired on May 31. On June 1, NestEgg still processed my rent. My landlord contacted them and they told him they would contact me. They haven’t. I contacted them three times, but since you can’t call customer service, I’m just sending emails and messages. This app is terrible. They have my money and they don’t really seem to care.

Too many glitches...super annoying!

Why is this app always so riddled with glitches?! Good grief! Half the time I can't even open the app; let alone put in a service request! Why do I have to sign in again every single time I open the app? I feel like there should be the option to use my finger print or the option to stay signed in if I so choose. I never receive notifications when I receive a message regardless of having the notification permissions enabled on my phone. It feels like someone who was in the process of learning app development made this app. It's been too many years of consistent glitches with this app. Unacceptable!!

Fastest way I have found to get rent online. Also finances expenses and rehabs interest free. Must have for landlords.

Bad service

It take 10+ days to receive payment from a tenant. Unless (of course) you use the paid version.

Thank you for the feedback. Our free tier does not include guaranteed rent payments on the 1st, so payments made via ACH take 5-8 business days to complete. Sometimes depending on where the weekends fall, this may be closer to 10 days. Unfortunately, this is the standard time frame for ACH payments established by the banks not something we have control over. As landlords ourselves, we don't like waiting for rent either. We encourage you to try out our free 3 month trial of our premium plans that guarantee rent is in your account on the 1st of every month. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. It does it all

I use NestEgg to collect rent from my tenants and getting maintenance issues fixed. It’s easy to use for me and my residents prefer paying online versus sending me checks each month.

You cannot expense accurately

Wait, why would you not allow users to be able to input accurate price amounts? You do know not all transactions are in round figures. Right?

Doesn’t work

This is possibly the worst app I’ve ever had to use. It freezes 100% of the time, which is not ideal when trying to pay your rent. How hard is it to make an app with basic functionality?
