Finally one that works!
I keep terrible notes on my home and appliances - and I needed something this easy to track everything. I was tired of looking dumb to service people.
My "junk drawer" is finally digital (and I can actually find things)
Honestly, I’m the kind of homeowner who usually just 'wings it' until something starts making a weird noise. I had a physical folder for appliance manuals and receipts, but it was basically a graveyard where I never looked.
NestLog actually changed that for me. Last week, when my dishwasher started acting up, I didn't have to go on a scavenger hunt for the model number—I just pulled it up in the app, saw exactly when it was installed, and had the contractor’s number right there. It’s that 'peace of mind' you don't realize you’re missing until you have it. It feels like I’m finally 'adulting' correctly. If you’ve ever stared at an air filter and wondered if it’s been six months or two years since you changed it, just get this app. Your future self will thank you.

Not just for the house-it’s my "everything" log
I know this is technically a home management app, but I’ve actually started using it to track my car, too. I set up a 'room' for my Lexus NX, and it’s been a game-changer. I’ve got the VIN, my insurance policy, and every oil change receipt logged in one spot right next to my water heater and fridge info.
There’s something so satisfying about having a single digital audit trail for the two most expensive things I own. Whether it’s a roof leak or a 30k-mile service, I finally have one place to look instead of digging through my glove box or an old email thread. If you’re a bit of a 'neat freak' about maintenance like I am, you’ll find plenty of ways to use this beyond just the four walls of your house.

Like a Carfax for your home!
Surprised that some thing like this app doesn’t already exist. This is like a digital manual for my house and makes home maintenance actually easy. Stop digging through junk drawers for manuals and random receipts, or having to store a 16 lb. binder of old printed manuals and hand written notes that you can’t even quickly search!

The digital medical record my home actually needed
NestLog is the most intuitive asset tracker I’ve used. The interface is sleek and it’s incredibly fast to catalog everything from high-end kitchen appliances to the water heater. Being able to attach contractor info and receipts directly to a repair log is a game-changer for long-term maintenance. If you own a home, you need this app

The “Audit Trail” I didn’t know I needed
I used to think I was 'organized' because I had a dedicated folder in my Gmail for house stuff. But trying to find a specific plumbing receipt from three years ago in a sea of search results is a nightmare.
NestLog has completely streamlined my record-keeping. Now, when a contractor finishes a job, I just snap a photo of the invoice and log it right under the specific asset. Having a chronological history of every repair, warranty, and manual in one digital vault is such a relief. It’s not just about knowing what I have, but having the verified paper trail to prove it’s been taken care of. Whether it’s for tax purposes, insurance, or eventually selling the place, having these records organized feels like a massive weight off my shoulders.

No more flashlight-in-the-mouth acrobatics
If you’ve ever found yourself squeezed into a tiny gap behind your furnace or crouching under a sink with a flashlight in your mouth just to read a blurry serial number, this app is for you.
The photo feature is what really sold me. Instead of typing out long, annoying strings of model numbers, I just snapped a clear photo of the manufacturer's plate on my water heater and dishwasher. The app lets you attach multiple photos to every asset—I’ve got the unit itself, the model tag, and even a shot of the paper receipt all in one spot. It’s so much easier to show a repair tech a photo on my phone than to try and explain what 'that one silver part' looks like. It’s organized, visual, and honestly kind of satisfying to see my whole utility room digitized.
