There are actually no delays. It said it was delayed to 8:18 but instead it arrived at 8:10 like usual. Fix your corny app

Concession

Could be more useful. Why does the app not sell concession day tickets or even advise that they are available from ticket machines? Also would be useful to store tickets in the iPhone wallet.

Pedestrian

The app’s ok. You can purchase tickets, view the network map etc but that’s about it. You can’t buy advanced tickets and it doesn’t give you real tram times by location like the metro in Newcastle does. Very basic stuff really. The network map also needs a real map overlay so you know where you are in The city. This is capable of so much more

Limited

Visiting Nottingham and wanted to get 2 x tickets in advance. Can’t do that and can’t buy a concession ticket either. Let’s hope the ticket machines work.

Worst public transport app

First of all the tickets are so expensive and are creeping up in price every year and for what they charge I would at least like to know what time my tram is coming before I leave the house and not have to play tram roulette every morning before work.

New updates are terrible

Used for years now and has always worked really well. The new updates are terrible. It doesn’t remember your preferred payment method half the time and takes ages to process even if you have full signal or are even on WiFi. I don’t know what the updates were supposed to do but they have definitely made it worse.

Awkward and slow

I want to use the tram. I download the app, and try to buy a ticket.

Endless pop-ups asking me to register for an account and even one reminding me that it’s illegal to travel without a ticket get in the way of me doing so.

I buy my ticket and it’s “locked” for 30 seconds for no good reason. Can I board the tram yet? Will I walk straight into the arms of a ticket inspector and a fine if I do? Who knows.

Sure, I was able to accomplish my goal, but it was made harder by a series of deliberate design decisions that made it harder to just….buy a ticket and get on a tram.

Concession tickets

Cannot see how to buy concession tickets.

First time using the app

Tried to purchase a ticket and it glitches after a payment is done no idea what’s going on as the app syncs and automatically closes. Can’t use it!

Won’t open?

I’ve used this app successfully for ages but now it says syncing data and then won’t open. What’s going on?!

Very Unreliable

App seems to constantly have issues- latest being an error message about it taking longer than expected to open/ synching data- but then never opens. Happening to multiple people I know too!

Now always waiting to sync data

Used to be able to buy a ticket in a moment using Apple Pay as I want to the tram stop - now all is always “syncs data” and apologising this is taking longer that expected and telling me after the 4th attempt to restart the app - when cycle is repeated. Now forced to buy tickets from the machines at the tram stop

Feature Suggestions

Hi, Can you add an option to load the ticket on app? I have purchased Tram Ticket using website but I cannot load the ticket on the NETGO! app.

Can you also add Tram Times? Like the Departure and Arrival Time.

App not loading!??

I’ve been using this app to purchase season tickets for me and my daughter but for the past week I can’t access the app to show purchased monthly tickets there’s no information on why this app is not working??

Suggestion

The app in general is pretty plain but informative. If you could add an in app timetable for every stop that would be genuinely better.

Won’t let me enter card details

The app won’t accept my payment details so I can’t buy a ticket. Have logged in and out and re downloaded the app but no change.

Good but buggy

App is usually flawless and the tramline updates are very useful plus and I can purchase tickets within seconds and it’s cheaper and more environmentally friendly than getting tickets from the machines. However for the last 2 weeks my app will not let me purchase tickets anymore and it is constantly “fetching last payment method” I have tried logging out and in again and deleting and redownloading the app but nothing seems to work so I have had to purchase my tickets at the machines which is sometimes inconvenient. Any help available ?

Apple Watch use?

Does this work with the watch? Say if one was to lose their phone they could still access their ticket?

Poor app

Insufficient information in the app relating to ticket types. What does a group ticket allow? FAQs are truly awful. E.g Q. Can I purchase a ticket in advance? A. Ticket activates on purchase So, what does that mean? It doesn’t answer the question.
Network map inaccessible to those with poor eye-site. Can’t even zoom it. Sigh! So basic.

They should keep the app really great. Much easier to make a payment.
