Not easy to use

Good luck trying to change the server listing on iOS. I've edited the server list on my MacBook Pro but I'll be damned if I can work out how to do it for my iPhone. I'd figure it out from the User Manual but for the fact there isn't one and the online Help offers no clues. It's frustrating as Netshade is excellent when the server you want is up and running. NB Apparently the server list can be accessed by the Globe View. I’ve spend 90 minutes on my iPad trying to do this but no dice.

Frustrated

Had this VPN over 5 years and all of a sudden says expired. I’ve been emailing them a week to resolve and going around in circles-very frustrating and still no VPN.

Rarely works

The service is so bad now. There are only 3 and even these rarely work. Total waste of money

FAQ

What does the NetShade app do?

The NetShade app functions as a VPN and proxy client for the NetShade service. It allows you to route your internet connection through various servers to change your IP address, access content from different regions, and protect your online privacy. You can choose between proxy for quick connections or VPN for maximum security with encryption.

How does NetShade protect my privacy?

NetShade protects your privacy by masking your IP address from the websites you visit, making your online activity more anonymous. The optional VPN feature provides strong encryption for all your network traffic, securing your activity from prying eyes on the network.

Is NetShade a free service?

NetShade is a subscription service. New users are provided with a free 10-day subscription to access all of NetShade's proxy and VPN servers. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using the service.

What devices is NetShade compatible with?

The provided description focuses on the app's functionality and does not specify exact device compatibility. However, as a VPN and proxy client, it is designed to work on devices that can run mobile applications and connect to the internet.

When should I use a proxy versus a VPN with NetShade?

You should use a proxy when you need a quick and reliable web connection. Use the VPN feature when you require maximum security and encryption for your network traffic, such as when using public Wi-Fi or accessing sensitive information.
