Glitchy

Glitchy and takes forever to update from year to year.

Helpful but..

The app was helpful as far as letting me know when the next event was happening and allowing the ease of setting reminders with timers. The one major drawback I noted was that while using the map in the showroom, it was hard to orient myself to which direction I should walk to my destination. Even when I had the correct starting and ending points, there was no marker on the map (like a red dot/arrow) to let me know I was actually heading in the right direction. Other than that, I did find it to be useful.

Terrible app

Can’t link any purchased events to the app. How easy is that to fix? I’m sure I’ll post the same feedback next year

So disappointed

I can see the schedule but can’t search even if connected to the Javits Center WiFi. Thankful for the info both people on the floor.

Easy, functional, informative

The interactive map is a great improvement from prior years! The app is pretty easy to navigate, has all the information I’m looking for in one place, creating a schedule is nice to try to keep track of everything we want to try to accomplish in the day. My only comment for next year would be that I’d like to see the interactive map have a feature where it shows us the exhibitors that we added to our favorite list. This way we can get a better visual of who is near each other and navigate the show floor smoother. But overall, it’s a great app, definitely an improvement from last year and the years prior!

Bad

The app does not update and does not tell you the schedules of anyone

Add Custom Scheduling

PLEASE add custom scheduling. Allow us to be able to add in notes or something in the schedule

Very confusing

Drove 6 hours to NYC. Got in line before 9 to see alien panel. Was told different answers by every single staff member I asked for help. App was no help. Now in fourth line at 10:38 and still have no idea if this is actually the correct line. Will NEVER come to another Comicon.

another nycc, another broken app

panels from 2024 are listed as of *the day the con starts* and the search function doesn’t work. BEGGING reedpop to actually invest in their app development, it’s embarrassing how nonfunctional the app is every year

Does anything work?

Search ability doesn’t work / can’t actually search before it freezes and many of the events arent listed

Terrible

Every year this app gets worse and worse, can’t even search for some artist or booths by their table numbers anymore. Can’t even search since it just freezes the app

The filtering needs to be better

- the filtering needs to allow multiple filters from many different filter categories. Right now it only allows one single filter in the whole list. There are way too many events to not have multiple filters and it displays as a check box UI insinuating that multi selection is available for filters when it really is not.

Disaster

Somehow even worse than previous iterations. Constantly bugs back to the main screen, eats your schedule, and has a useless map function. The interactive map does nothing except glitch, so I’m not sure what its purpose was meant to be. Didn’t help me find a single thing. As an aside, it would be helpful to be able to log in, that way it’s connected your showclix account. I realize that since they can’t get it together for even the most basic tasks that this will not happen, but maybe in 50 years. Knew when I saw ‘Powered by Tumblr’ that this was going to be a complete disaster, and this app did not disappoint.

loved it

had tremendous fun with my boyfriend here it was our first con and i would love to go again next year

Pretty decent

I’ve been looking for some recent reviews and found none, so I decided to take it on myself to tell you that the app is pretty good. There’s a lot to be desired but the schedule builder as well as the panel info etc is vast and easy to understand. As a first time goer it helps me build my itinerary which is helpful. Once again this app can be so much better then it is right now, but it gets the job done.

App doesn’t even open

I click the app icon and it just opens to a bigger app logo and never opens the app.

Don’t bother

Crashes every two seconds. Not been usable. Don’t bother downloading

The More button crashes the app every time

The More button crashes the app every time

“Built by tumblr” 🙄

This app is a buggy mess that crashes more often than works. Maps are inconsistent and most of the functionality is shunted off to the NYCC website or showclix. You can look at the scheduled events, but the app has a tendency to delete the events you bookmarked without warning.

Eats Your Schedule

So the app has now twice: once yesterday at Javits and now today at home, bugs out and eats my schedule. Not only that, which would be annoying enough, but once it’s done that it also pretends that the entire schedule hasn’t been released yet, so it’s just a blank page. Especially fun in Javits North where I don’t get a signal to redownload the app.
