The app says that my battery is at -1% so I went to buys some new one but it still says it’s and -1% so now am not sure if it’s the app or smth else plz help

Won’t let me update???
This app was functional at the beginning. Everything worked out great. But when I need to update the firmware, the app won’t let me? I’ve tried updating it on two different devices, and neither one will let me update my light stick. When i get to the update screen, it will say my light stick battery is at -1%, even though I’ll have just replaced the batteries in my lightstick. And clearly the battery of my lightstick is not the concern if it can turn on and connect just fine. I love using it in self mode, but now I can’t use self mode unless I update my firmware. I’m not sure what’s up with the app, because it used to work just fine…
