Why NexBot Is Proof AI Can Fail Spectacularly
1. False Promises: The Illusion of Quality Features
At first glance, NexBot appears to be a competitive player in the AI-writing market. Its marketing materials boast of advanced algorithms, custom tone settings, and the ability to generate original, high-quality content. For $99 a year, one might expect an intelligent, seamless assistant that enhances productivity and creativity. Instead, users are met with:
A. Plagiarism in Place of Originality
NexBot’s writing outputs frequently pull large chunks of text from existing sources, often verbatim, with no citations. This isn’t just a glaring technical flaw—it’s a breach of trust and ethics. Users who need content for professional, academic, or personal purposes risk accusations of plagiarism simply by using the app. Worse, there is no feature to check or flag copied content within the tool, leaving users entirely unaware of the risks they face.
B. Generic, Low-Quality Outputs
For an app marketed as “revolutionizing writing,” NexBot’s actual output is laughably subpar. The AI struggles with:
Producing coherent thoughts across multiple paragraphs.
Adhering to specified tones or styles.
Generating text that is free from grammatical errors and awkward phrasing.
What should be polished, readable content often feels like it was cobbled together by a first-year computer science project rather than a sophisticated AI.
C. Missing Core Features
Basic tools that competitors offer for free, like citation generators, content formatting, or in-depth editing suggestions, are absent in NexBot. Features like “tone customization” or “creative writing prompts” are either half-baked or completely nonfunctional. Every click on the app reveals yet another broken promise.
2. The Customer Support Black Hole
If you encounter problems with NexBot—and you will—you’ll find yourself screaming into the void of their nonexistent customer support system. For a product with such glaring issues, one would expect a responsive and capable support team. Instead, users are met with silence.
A. Ignored Emails and Vanishing Tickets
Submitting a support ticket or emailing NexBot is like tossing a message in a bottle into the ocean—only to watch it sink. Users report waiting weeks or months without any acknowledgment, let alone resolution. Many tickets disappear entirely from the system, leaving customers with no way to track or escalate their concerns.
B. No Human Interaction
Unlike competitors that offer live chat, detailed help centers, or even phone support, NexBot provides nothing but an unhelpful FAQ page and an automated bot that recycles canned responses. The lack of any human interaction is not just a minor inconvenience—it’s a glaring flaw in a product that clearly requires constant troubleshooting.
C. A Disrespectful Silence
The absence of customer support reflects an attitude of blatant disregard for paying customers. Whether users are facing technical glitches, billing issues, or content concerns, NexBot’s silence signals that they simply don’t care about their customers' experience.
3. The User Experience: Designed to Annoy
NexBot’s interface is another area where its failures are on full display. For a premium-priced product, the design and usability feel outdated, clunky, and unintuitive.
A. Aesthetic and Functional Failures
The app’s interface is a visual disaster, with:
Poorly labeled buttons that make navigation confusing.
Menus that are cluttered and difficult to read.
Features buried in nonsensical locations, requiring multiple unnecessary clicks.
These design flaws aren’t minor annoyances—they actively hinder the writing process and create a steep learning curve that no user should have to deal with.
B. Constant Crashes and Glitches
Technical stability is not NexBot’s strong suit. The app is prone to freezing, crashing, or generating error messages at random. These frequent interruptions make it nearly impossible to complete even the simplest writing tasks without frustration.
C. Useless Suggestions and Lack of Personalization
The AI’s suggestions are often irrelevant, contradictory, or outright nonsensical. For example:
Grammar suggestions often break otherwise correct sentences.
Tone recommendations fail to match user input, veering wildly between casual and formal without rhyme or reason.
There’s no learning mechanism to adapt to a user’s style over time, making each session feel like starting from scratch.
4. Plagiarism: A Dealbreaker
Among NexBot’s many offenses, its blatant disregard for originality is the most damning. Content creators rely on AI tools to assist with generating new ideas and perspectives, not to plagiarize existing material. NexBot’s outputs often:
Copy entire paragraphs from online sources.
Fail to include citations or even acknowledge that the content isn’t original.
Leave users vulnerable to copyright infringement claims or reputational damage.
The lack of a built-in plagiarism checker exacerbates the problem, making NexBot a legal and ethical minefield for anyone who dares to use it professionally.
5. The Price: $99 for Frustration
At $99 per year, NexBot is significantly more expensive than many of its competitors. For this steep price, users receive a subpar product that fails to deliver on its most basic promises. The cost feels like a slap in the face when free or low-cost alternatives provide far superior functionality, support, and reliability.

Response from developer
Hi. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and for the delay in replying. Please email us at nexbot.ai@gmail.com for this. Thank you
The latest update renders the free version useless
Gives advice when not asked
However, when I am drafting a letter, or polishing a paragraph, I do not want a lengthy paragraph of advice.
In my past few projects instead of polishing, or writing a draft, I have been given advice.
I will not be renewing this app, it is not worth the price that I paid.
Response from developer
Hi. I understand. You can actually tell the bot to provide a short paragraph of advice instead of the long one. You can email us at nexbot.ai@gmail.com if you have any more questions about this. Thank you :)
