Everyone and there brother can recommend there bussiness but when I recommend mine I get block from commenting that’s crazy this app is so garbage compared to what it use to be !
Dreadful
This app has been an absolute nightmare. I couldn’t even delete it! Stuck with it on my device whether I like it or not.
Same problem
Trying to log in, app won’t let me. It keeps making me add information like I’m a new person. I’ve been a member of next Nextdoor for years and have experienced the same problem numerous times. So far I have received no feedback on the issue I presented to the team, guess I just need to give up and hope someone will respond and correct.

No Support / Help Team
I use Nextdoor all the time, and the community is great. However, one of my posts was recently removed, and did not violate any guidelines.
Every time I tried to view the removal notification, I was brought back to my own post. Fine, I figured I would just contact support.
Well, upon attempting to contact support, it prompts you to log in again, and then brings you right back to your home page.
In short, Nextdoor is great until you need to talk to a moderator or employee.
If you ever need help, you’re on your own, and your own community members are moderators who can remove your posts without any explanation or accountability.

Now awful
This used to be a great local news and recommendation app where addresss were verified and you could select your preferred areas. Now, address verification is gone and the app is full of scammers. The ‘local’ feed is ruined by posts from way outside my area. My feed is clogged with every single item for sale, including Olio listings, along with millions of cat photos and irrelevant, mundane posts about what people have drawn or simply want to comment on 🤯🤷🏼♀️

Don’t get this app
No matter what u post u will get flag for it . And suspended for anything lil . U can’t post a pic of urself without people commenting mean ugly things. Once u get suspended u get lock out for days . Over a post that not offensive. Good luck on this app . U will be disappointed!

Unsubscribe doesn’t work. No “turn off all emails” option anywhere.
Useless
The moderators don’t follow their own rules. Everything gets removed and reviews are useless because they don’t allow anything negative. Just a blow horn for ignorant people.

This app is such trash people report you if they don’t agree with you then you get suspended for no reason. I had three comments flagged and everyone single one was innocent and non offensive in anyway and were with in there so called guidelines. What’s a point of an app you cant and comment or post on if “offended” people can report you for no reason and then they just suspend everyone

Used to be a good app for staying connected and informed about your neighborhood. It is now become a politically biased. Toxic atmosphere where people are banned for silly things that don’t align with the moderators who happen to be volunteers in your area beliefs, while others are allowed to say whatever they want as long as it left, leaning, doesn’t matter if it’s misinformation, but as soon as you call it out, you suspended. Will also be changing cameras from ring to the next best competitor. Been a customer for 5-6 years good bye ring.

My post and account were suspended because I called a young man a boy after he hit and scratched my car and fled. Nextdoor protects vandals, not victims. I have every right to be upset. I never used foul language yet I was the one receiving the punishment. Keep your app. You’re of no use to me when I actually needed you.

Overall, customer service
Been trying to get my account verified for a week send a copy of my ID done everything they’ve asked and they still have a verified me. I went through all the proper steps the first time and then they said they couldn’t verify me and I’ve been waiting a week to be verified. Can’t even talk to nobody.

Good for finding things out
Business Categories are not listed for the Spanish Participants
On our Profile Page we can add our business and select up to 10 categories. However the categories are only available to add in English. The Spanish speaking participants are not able to add their business because the same categories to select in English are not pre-populated with the Spanish language. I attempted to help someone add their business based on my selections (English) versus theirs (Spanish) on an Android phone but nothing worked. Please fix this bug. We are missing some excellent business opportunities because of this issue.

Why ask me for my “billing” info I did not request to purchase Nextdoor just join?
Good for community bad for business
Finding out about areas and events is good. But if you have a negative experience with a business or individual and want to help others from getting scammed by making an experienced critical comment… Nextdoor bans you. Ridiculous.
Notification Overload
The amount of notifications is insane. Turned off most notifications, but still receive a large amount. It still sends me notifications from areas I don’t live anymore, and yes I updated my location.
