Stop Forcing People To Download an App

Why is a website that primarily houses forums demanding that mobile users download yet another app in order to browse it? I’ve had an account for years that I used just fine on the web on mobile until a couple weeks ago, and frankly this is not encouraging me to use Reddit more. I’ve actually used it significantly less.

650+ day streak user, it’s getting bad.

Unfortunately, AI bots and product astroturfing have made it nearly impossible to find genuine conversation not including bots anymore. Every sub has a multitude of bots modifying opinion, plus AI companies are training directly from Reddit. It’s an echo chamber more every day.

Wow it’s changed

All I see on this app is hateful content. People are so mean and disgusting to each other on this app. Everything has to be about politics. There are some cool pages to check out but someone will always find a way to add something vulgar to it. Disappointed in people these days.

Web pop up

Get Reddit app pop up is awful. Sort reviews by recent to see this isn’t a 4.8 star app. Android here I come as they have actual working ad blockers.

r/all is blocked

they removed r/all from this app and block all attempts to access it. the difference between trying to use this and simply visiting old.reddit.com is night and day. not worth the download
