This app sucks

They lock your account for stupid stuff yet they let ppl post pictures of mutilated dead babies. This app is disgusting and should be banned.

Forced

You have no idea how much I hate being forced to get an app. Are you that hard up for users?

Forced app usage.

The web version now has a text wall prompting you to use the app. I will now only be using exclusively on the brave browser, so Reddit gets no revenue.

Idek

L goons half of it it gif no sound slop

Cool

Cool comme application mais je trouve que l’accueil est assez dure à comprendre au début

Pushy

It’s a great platform. BUT it is extremely annoying to have the app pushed on me when I read an article online. Freezing my browser page and forcing me to open the same page on your STUPID app will not make me switch over. If you want to have an app back your platform, fine. Take down your website then. Make it an app and nothing else.

Please bring back swipe up to view replies

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional but it sucks. Used to be able to look at a picture for a post and then swipe up to go to the text and replies for the post. Yesterday there was a link that said tap on this to view the conversation now that's gone.

RETURN SWIPE UP! If I want to look at other posts I know how to do that.

What’s not to love 💀

Killing of better 3rd party apps, Spez, annoying and un-closable pop-up on browser that doesn’t even open app, bugs that aren’t fixed like volume up plays audio from the bottom most video instead.

Love Reddit! Despite what my kid thinks…

I love Reddit. I find tons of interesting topics I am interested in, a passionate community, and tons of clever humor that never fails to disappoint. As long as the mods stay on top of trolls, I’m happy.

Great site, bad app

Reddit has always been a community place to find interests and discuss them with others. It is turning into another TikTok clone and losing what made me enjoy it to begin with. I’ll head over to TikTok for my doomscrolling and hope I can find a better community app.

Reddit and website won’t work together

Can’t using websites reviews Reddit anymore. Make you open the app and app won’t direct to the post

Whole post deleted

Need draft system while creating post to save text /contents

Update sucks

Battery hog >:-[ UPDATE: Still in July 2026 … a battery hog!

Warning

Great app for far leftists

Overrun by bots

I’ve been a Redditor for 11 years now, and through most of that time the site and app have been fantastic. However for the last several months this site has been plagued by bot accounts and the admins have done nothing to fix it. Every other post on the site is literally made by a bot account. Like where is the human interaction that social media was built on?

Come on Reddit admins, do something!

This app has literal cp

This app is disgusting. It’s full of pornography and even child pornography why hasn’t this app been investigated or shut down yet? I don’t recommend it

Biased

sadly it’s to much of a echo chamber anything starting to get political other than that it’s a great app

Insane.

Extremely frustrating moderation system.
I’m disappointed with Reddit’s automated filters. I made a completely harmless post asking for movie recommendations to watch with my boyfriend, and it was removed by a filter for no clear reason. Meanwhile, the platform still has issues with genuinely disturbing content slipping through. The moderation system feels inconsistent and unfair, especially for new users who are just trying to participate normally. Reddit needs to improve its filters, explain removals clearly, and make it easier for users to appeal mistakes.
