Disgusting

Average age of users must be 65+. The people who supervise each community must be liberal women who make decisions based on their own political agendas. They target certain people and ignore when others say the same thing. Miserable liberals are the worst

Inconsistent rules

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Nextdoor. I’ve tried to follow the platform’s rules, but helpful posts and legitimate recommendations keep getting flagged as spam. Even when someone specifically asks for a business recommendation, my responses are often removed or restricted.

What makes it worse is how inconsistent the enforcement feels. I see other businesses posting similar content all the time without any apparent issue, while my account repeatedly gets flagged.

I’ve contacted support and still haven’t received a clear explanation of what specific rule I’m supposedly violating. At this point, it feels like my account is being singled out.

I’ve decided to delete both my personal and business accounts. I wanted to like Nextdoor and was even considering spending more money on the platform, but the moderation experience has made the app incredibly frustrating to use.

The rules need to be clearer and enforced consistently for everyone.

Second review (other was removed)

Moderators either can’t see the forest for the trees or the app is bought out by the elite. I recently got banned indefinitely for posting that “Billionaires are trying to get you to hate your neighbor’s”.. it was considered “political” which says a lot cuz I’m pretty sure billionaires are not supposed to be political 🤔 Other than that, they say politics have to be in the politics group but then say that civil rights posts can go in the main feed. If ICE is suppressing civil rights in your neighborhood, it is apparently considered “politics” and not a safety issue for your neighbors!!! This is a corrupt app that caters to MAGA and I am PROUD TO BE BANNED ✊❤️‍🔥

New update

They have recently made an update that you cannot promote your business from your personal account. This to me makes no sense. You have to have a business account to promote, but you cannot promote from a business account lol you can’t post any post to show what your business looks like and I cannot get verified at all. I’ve been trying to for months. You cannot view anyone’s posts from the feed. I feel like the business accounts are useless in a way

This is now a dead app

They made changes that recently killed the entire app. It is now anti small business. It was a GREAT asset for business until these changes.. now everyone is fussing, and they are continuously making worse and worse business decisions that are extremely damaging to the usability of the app. They are now falling in line with all the known Angi scams. Dont waste your time unless you want to pay ridiculous fees to even mention your business. This app is now trash, dont waste your time if you have a business. Its a sham now.
