Issue with 2.7in screens
When loading images onto 2.7in screens (SKU:18136, Part No.:2.7inch NFC-Powered e-Paper Module) the bottom few rows of pixels end up getting copied or rewritten on the top row. It is almost as if the image has been scrolled within the screen and wrapped around.
This is the case with all 4 of my 2.7in displays but not my 2.9in (SKU:17746
Part, No.:2.9inch NFC-Powered e-Paper).
Other than this issue with 2.7in screens the app works well and is quite simple. If this is fixed I will update my review accordingly.

A little buggy but it works
Some small issues with some fonts, but it works to update my Waveshare 2.7” NFC-powered ePaper.
Most recent update killed it
It used to fail every now and then. Usually moving my phone a little and trying again would fix the problem. After the most recent update it fails 100% of the time. It’s like it just stops updating the keychain picture part way through the process and I’m left with a very faint image that is impossible to see. And the red color is not there at all.

Works well enough
I was able to easily transfer a picture to my NFC E-Ink keychain. Cropping, scaling and dithering the image all worked well. I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Why no way to display images in portrait? Ridiculous.
Only works 10% of the time
It’s per much junk. Once in a while it works great and draws a very good image however most of the time the app stops while it is still drawing the image and it doesn’t finish the image. It’s pretty much no good.
Simple but works
Made for those NFC tags that can be flashed with your phone. Thanks for allowing iPhone users to have fun too.
Works with WaveShare 7.5” NFC e-paper
Since it works to display images and text to my 7.5” NFC powered WaveShare e-paper device with my iPhone 12 Pro. I’m quite happy with this app. That the app is free, just makes things even better! If you have an NFC-powered WaveShare e-paper display and are iOS, then this is a must have app.
Could be good with even the smallest amount of effort
Unfortunately this is the only app out of the dozen I tried that will communicate with the Waveshare e-paper tag. It’s a joke. The app is so limited even the most basic thing I was trying to do is impossible. You can’t save text and then edit it later, you have to start over. I need to rotate the screen 90° and display text that way that’s impossible too.
