Horrendous Update
Fort Erie resident that can now no longer get to my job on time unless I take a 2 hour preemptive ride as opposed to what they had before with a 10 minute ride that I needed. Absolutely abysmal planning by the company, who does this benefit? A destination app that doesn’t get you to your destination. Worthless is the word I would use here but that still feels too generous for what this update has done to it, it’s worse then worthless as it actively hinders my income and thus how I make a living. Fix this.

This app is a pitiful disgrace. In 2021 during the peak of COVID, you could get a ride at any time of day ride would always show up in a reliable amount of time. We are now in 2026 and this new app is worse than the old, and you can’t even get a ride AT ALL. This app has become a complete joke, I stopped using it around 2 years ago because of this garbage, and the one time I genuinely need it to be a reliable service, I decide to use it and alas it’s the exact same problem as two years ago, meaning they advertise themselves as a transit service but they don’t provide any RIDES. How after so many years you guys are even still in business with how much of a failure your service is baffles me.

Useless, cant buy regular bus fare with it
Totally useless app, cant buy regular bus tickets with it.
Beyond Terrible
Terrible. No matter what time of day or day of the week you can never book a ride. It’s always “High demand” or “Service Area Limitations” this app is completely useless. I 100% recommend uber instead.
It’s funny
See, not only is there never anything available at any time, but if you search to many times win a row, it stops you for searching cars for around 40 minutes, why?
Unreliable
There is literally never any ride options no matter where I set it to. Im starting to doubt if the app even works. I have to give up and use Uber every single time. How was 2018 transit more reliable than this 2025 one?

Honestly Useless.
This app is the most unreliable thing out there. Maybe they just treat it poorly because it’s cheap but to change the system to using a new app, SO HARD to even just identify as a passenger who doesn’t need any mobility device will take you forever, there’s legitimately no option for that.
An example: After trying from 1:30pm to book for 3:30 and was rejected every time, I called to get help. I was told that “Well it’s just luck. You just have to keep trying. Hundreds are using it. I was trying to book for anywhere from 3:00-5:55pm…somehow none of this makes sense.
Do better if you even can. Just because you’re cheap, doesn’t mean people don’t deserve good service much less a functional one.

Though I read all the negative reviews, still I thought if trying it out. It SUCKS. Can’t book any rides close or far. U guys either start from where everyone is or don’t start at all.

wish I could give 0 stars
I seriously always want to give this app / service a fair chance because I love what they are trying to do, and every driver I’ve had as been nice. Even costumer support is pretty good. However, the success rate I have of getting reliable rides is at a embarrassing low, the app has so many bugs. The wait times are ridiculous, rides cancel on me too much. I’ll pick a ride and have it immediately tell me “I didn’t pick a ride and have to pick something else” with a huge wait time… every time I use this app it’s a frustrating experience.

The best motivation there is to buy a car
I can say with confidence that the seemingly discontinued (with zero explanation) NRT OnDemand app, which worked about a quarter of the time, completely outshines this slapped together garbage-infused mess. There is exactly one singular error message when scheduling a ride, leaving the user to wonder if it was either:
A. A service outage
B. High demand
C. Service area limitations
D. The punishment of an unloving god
I have never once been able to schedule a ride on this app, the user interface is an abomination, and it has single-handedly changed my opinion on public transit. In summary, it’s easier to sell a kidney and buy a car.

Garbage app
This app is a complete waste of time. You guys should take the bus over this crappy service every time. I was travelling from St Cath to beamsville which is a 18 minute drive, it took me more than 50 minutes to reach beamville. That is if you’re lucky enough to even find a ride, half the time all the slots are booked because the company is so cheap that they can’t even afford suitable amount of cars despite the fact that they rip people off constantly. Absolutely horrible. I called their office today and they said they have no rides for another 3 hours. That’s just pathetic to be honest. Will never recommend this to anyone and I’ll get my friends to stop using this app anytime in the future. Garbage.

Great Update by NRT
The previous NRT app was not that user friendly and used to crash a lot , today i gave this new plus app a try and that is really good , easy to use and great user interface. Really happy about it . Thank you NRT developers!

Per NRTOndemand email, I’ve decided to download this app. Unfortunately, when I was about to add my payment method, it wouldn’t let me.
