Wrong app alert pictures
Preview pictures need to show current motion not old ones! I have to look at the app fully every event to see the truth

Night Owl protect is a very reliable surveillance system
Freezes phone
I don’t know why but I randomly just freezes my phone completely, the only way to unfreeze it is force restarting my phone
My eyes
Well worth it but should be upgraded so we can hear conversations would help authority’s to if certain things happen other then that it is great 👍🏼
Unreliable “human” detection
I have had about a 75% failure rate for reliable human detection over the years. Got a period of over half a year of reliable human detection then they “fixed” something and we are back to endless false human detection alerts. Some may not find that a big deal. It is a big deal if you want to enable the alarm at night for human detection. If it is alerting every minute or two you can’t have it enabled otherwise you will be waking the neighbors unnecessarily.

The system not to stable cameras keeps cutting off signals the delay is way of about 7 to 10 seconds off
Unable to access old videos
For about 2 weeks now I’ve been experiencing that my cameras alert me of any movement but when I click on the alert it won’t open up. It usually says something along the lines of make sure your internet connection is working when it’s perfectly fine. I am able to view live feed but the old videos show up sometimes and I refresh then they show up but I click to view and again loads forever before giving me error message.

Don’t Bother, a lot of cool features except the most important
The product itself is ok and seems to work nicely, set was a breeze and so forth but for some reason the feature you’d think would be priority #1 doesn’t exist. The app says it does continuous recording except there is absolutely zero way to go back and watch video from a specified time frame, instead you get a list of events broken into to tiny clips. This is super annoying if you need to reference a certain span of time. In my business this is useless as often we need to provide law enforcement with video evidence and it’s near impossible to present a timeline. The sad part is my 20 year old dvr could work circles around this pos.

Great security system
I have purchased Night Owl on two occasions. So together I have been a Night Owl user for over 10 years. The newer version is much better as far as camera quality and options such as talk back and audio recording. I say that dollar per dollar it exceeds all other security system brands

Must have for home security good quality and it doesn’t have a long delay time
Night Owl Protection
The camera and service is the number one in home security. My experience with the product is far better than the Ring cameras.
