Allows me to keep an eye out from 2500 miles away
My purchase several months ago of my Night Owl outdoor camera has allowed me to reliably keep an eye on my property far away, sending me alerts whenever anyone or any vehicle approaches my house, rendering a perfect video that it will save for me. Even the batteries have lasted for 5 months so far. Amazing! Anytime I want to log in to the app I can see what’s going on there. I’m buying several more.

I like the unit and ease of setup. The reason I didn’t rate 5 is that the swivel mounts only articulate one direction unlike a ball joint which would allow adjusting the camera to view level when at an angle. They are still functional for security but not as professional as my prior cameras.
New update (joke)
Newest update says improved animal detection. It still don’t see a large rat right in front of the camera eating bate, still a worthless camera system! No sign of my money back
Thankfully it’s over
All the good reviews are fake. After years of issues the resent update the NVR died less than 3 years after purchase and thankfully I bought the extra warranty from Sam’s Club and I’m getting my money back. The worst system I ever owned and happy it’s over. DO NOT BUY NIGHT OWL but if you do please buy the extra warranty for peace of mind.

Great wireless system easy to use. Camera quality could be better and the window of view could be better but definitely gets the job done and I am happy with it.
Would not recommend
I have stand alone products along with cameras tied to NVR. The cameras along with the app are buggy at best. I an in process of replacing all mine. Any time I need support I always receive non-English people who ask basic questions. I am not convinced that the active zone filtering works.

New system
I had an old Amcrest camera system and it gave out. I did research because I wanted a system that wasn’t online. I am very happy with the ease of set up and the features that the app supplies. The system is head and shoulders above what I had.
