About
What happens around you while you sleep?
Night Time Noise listens for significant sounds during the night and saves short recordings for you to hear in the morning.
Snoring, coughing, talking, movement and unexpected noises can all happen while you’re asleep. Night Time Noise gives you a simple way to discover and review the sounds that occurred overnight — without recording hours and hours of continuous audio.
HOW IT WORKS
Tap Goodnight when you go to bed. Night Time Noise listens in the background and automatically captures short clips when it detects significant sound.
In the morning, tap I’m Awake and review what happened during the night.
HEAR YOUR NIGHT
• Review short recordings of nighttime sounds
• See when sounds occurred throughout the night
• Play back individual recordings
• Classify sounds as Snore, Cough / Voice, Other Noise or Unsure
• Quickly move through unreviewed recordings
• See your recent nighttime sound history
• Adjust microphone sensitivity for your sleeping environment
• Export individual recordings when you choose
DESIGNED WITH PRIVACY IN MIND
Your nighttime recordings stay on your iPhone or iPad unless you explicitly choose to share them. No account or sign-in is required.
Night Time Noise records short sound events rather than continuously saving an entire night’s audio, helping keep overnight recordings manageable.
YOUR SLEEP ENVIRONMENT, MADE AUDIBLE
Maybe you snore. Maybe your partner does. Maybe you cough, talk in your sleep, or there’s a mysterious noise that happens every night at 3 a.m.
Night Time Noise lets you hear what was happening while you were asleep.
Night Time Noise is intended for personal awareness of your sleep environment. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor medical conditions.

Night Time Noise is getting smarter about your nights. • Smarter reporting — activity statistics now reflect all detected nighttime sounds, independent of how many recordings you choose to review. • Faster morning reviews — the default review limit is now 25 recordings. • Better review tracking — improved progress and classification tracking as you work through your sounds. • Improved morning processing — clearer feedback while your night is being prepared. • More accurate trends — changing your review limit won’t artificially change your long-term activity statistics. • Plus performance improvements and refinements throughout the app.
