PlacePoint

PlacePoint is a simple, intuitive way to save locations and find your way back to them. Save your current location with a tap or search for a place you want to visit. PlacePoint keeps your saved places together and shows the distance to each one. Choose a destination and the compass shows two things clearly: the direction you’re currently heading and the direction you need to go. Simply turn until your PlacePoint is ahead of you and start walking. PlacePoint is useful anywhere you want straightforward direction without needing turn-by-turn navigation: • Mark where you parked • Save a pub, restaurant or shop to revisit later • Plan places to visit while exploring a new city • Find your way back to a saved meeting point • Mark trail locations and other places away from roads • Save field locations such as wildlife cameras, bat houses or survey points Your saved places are stored on your device, and the interface is designed to stay simple: save a place, choose where you want to go, and point yourself in the right direction.
