Has the functionality I’m looking for
I was looking for a unit that would in particular send me an alert when the pump lost power, and this software with the accompanying hardware seems do that well.
Easy setup
So far it’s working for me. Connection to my ALM alarm was super easy.
Terrible App
Tried numerous times and app does not work and cannot set up . Set up red light changes green for 2 seconds then goes back to red with ‘unknown error’ being shown on the app
Installed and tested with my iPhone 13 mini
My plumber installed a Liberty pump this week with the 442 series back up pump. The NightEye module is slightly different than the one shown in the videos. Even though the app is somewhat hesitant during the installation process on iPhone, and there should be a clear message of success from the hyperlink on their message to confirm my email address, I configured and tested the system. So, I decided to write this review to counteract the negative reviews in the Apple Store. So far so good. After two months in usage, the system sends alerts as configured when a power failure occurs and when the power comes back too. So, if it wasn't for the hesitation of the app during installation, this would be five stars
Since update in February 2024, the app is loosing connection with my network many times a day. Nothing wrong with my wifi. It seems that it was the battery that was weakening. The application does not give a message in this case. I changed the 9v battery and everything works fine.

The App is unable to notify alarm properly
When a flooding alarm or loss of power alarm is trigger, you get no sound or phone vibration to notify you, even when everything is enable in settings to do so. This is the main reason why we purchased this item and it fail to do such a simple task.
Can’t login!
Spent almost $700 on the sensors and the NightEye alarm. Just like the other reviewer I cannot login. There are no phone numbers even on the Liberty Pumps website!
I cannot log in.
As at least one other reviewer has mentioned, I type my password and cannot log in. The button is greyed out to submit my login credentials. This has only recently started happening to me. Update: As of October 11, 2022 (version 3.5.8) the app is still broken and I cannot log in to use the features of the overpriced back-up sump I bought. You have been warned!

Login button doesn’t work
I type my email and password but cannot login. The login button is greyed out. It tried clicking all but no dice cannot login.
Utterly Useless
When registering a new account, requires email confirmation. I’ve tried numerous times today. Never received the email.

App no longer works
Opened the app and it quickly flashes through the main Home Screen and goes completely black and freezes. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling does nothing…. This ability to remotely monitor is the whole reason I paid the premium for the device to begin with…… I currently have 4 liberty pumps and am thinking maybe I should of went with another company….

Doesn’t Connect
The pump has a basic photosensor on it, so to connect the app flashes your phone screen at it to send your wifi info. That’s the theory anyway.
In practise, I never once got the pump to connect. When it fails, the app provides no real info, nor does the pump itself.
So not sure if the failure is the app or the wifi chip on the pump. I kind of suspect the app though as it can’t even seem to pull network names from my phone (which is definitely connected to the right wifi network).

Easy to set up.
I used the puck option. I set it up in 5mins and now feel comfortable to leave the house for an extended trip. Bonus it has a low temp alert. Great product!
No longer works
This app used to work decently for years. Now we can’t get into the app on any of our devices. We can log in successfully and then get notifications, but after logging in, the app just sits there and doesn’t let us in like it used to. Very strange.
App will not load
Tried to use the app today. It would not load for an iPhone 12.
Needs ability to change silence time
The app works fine for me, I use it for my septic holding tank alarm. However, the alarm can only be silenced for 6 hours and then it goes off again. This app should at least allow the user to choose the silence duration. It’s going to go off at 3am and wake me up which is annoying. Sometimes it’s a couple days before I can get the tank pumped, and it’s very irritating to have to silence this thing every 6 hours. I love that I can silence it from my phone, but the user should be able to have more control over the silence duration depending on their use for this alarm.

Time waster. Horrible app.
Definitely would have given this app 0 stars if I could. I spent several hours trying to get this app to work. I even used a friends android after trying to run the app on my iPhone multiple times, and I was frustrated to get the same results. During the step where you try to connect the ALM-2 to your phone the app freezes. The only way to get out of the app is to delete it and reinstall the app. Of course, by deleting the app this causes you to go through all the steps again. We have 6 units that were purchased for this job, at this point they are nothing more than a super expensive audible contact alarm or a paper weight.

Stopped working
App suddenly stopped working, won’t even let you login to your account :-(
Got good help at the 1-800 #
I also had trouble with the set up. The troubleshooting section in manual is woefully inadequate. Called the 1-800 # and was quickly connected to a person who walked me through the necessary steps to a successful connect.
Can’t connect app
Was super excited to get this in the house, as I’ve heard great things about liberty pumps. But despite countless tries, I simply cannot connect my app/phone to the device. More frustrating is the limited info with regard to trouble shooting. I’m certain I’ll get it sorted out, but quite disappointed with the night eye.

Great App
I purchased the ALM-2 EYE and installed the app without any issues. The app was easy to setup. Everything works as intended. I usually don't review apps, but based on prior reviews I was hesistant to buy the ALM-2_EYE, but I'm glad I did. I purchased the ALM-2-EYE after our prior waste pump failed and the only indcator was that the shower drain was backed up, thankfully no real damage this time. Hopefiully this alarm will notify me when the pump fails again, as to avoid any damage from waste water backing up. Not sure why prior review are so bad, but don't let those reviews prevent you from purchasing the LibertyPump Alarm.
