System outage
There seems to be a system outage for last several hours. The app simply won’t open and I can’t access my account on web site. It would be nice to receive some sort of email or text notification that this is happening and when to expect resolution. This system is monitoring critical home infrastructure. It was expensive to purchase. We expect better.

iPad does not support landscape mode
While the app works and is generally responsive on the phone and iPad, the fact that the iPad version does not support landscape mode is inexcusable. Many homes use iPads as a control center, and in my case, I use it with a keyboard. Even the most basic apps support portrait or landscape mode. It’s straightforward to implement. I also wish the system did a better job of reporting low batteries so they can be changed before alerting of a low status.

Descent App - Great product
Used this for over 5 years. App gets the job done, needs a few improvements to catch up. Product is DEFINITELY worth the premium price (expensive). I’ve tried them all…many homes. Tons of product hardware add-ons available to manage complex large homes. Insurance company Chubb requires it and agent told us Leak Defense is the best in the market (haha, Chubb even owns another brand but said it’s not as good.)

Love the product, but the app times out constantly
I love the protection this system provides, however I’m really struggling with the app. More times than not, when I try to access the app, it immediately times out and appears to give me an option to report an error, however nothing happens if you attempt to report the error. It just locks up the screen and you have to exit the app entirely. Please fix!
