About

Apple Watch tracks your sleep. NightRecovery tells you how well your body actually recovered. The two work together: your watch collects overnight vitals while you sleep, and NightRecovery interprets them into a single recovery score (0–100) — so you know each morning whether to push hard or take it easy. Your score is built from four signals, compared against your personal 30-day baseline: • HRV — Heart rate variability during sleep, the strongest indicator of autonomic recovery • Resting Heart Rate — Lower than your baseline means better recovery • Sleep — Duration and efficiency compared to your personal norm • Respiratory Rate — Deviations can signal stress or illness Scores fall into three bands: green (recovered), yellow (moderate), and red (strained). The algorithm adapts to you — it needs about 7 nights to start scoring and improves over 14. FEATURES • One-glance recovery score with color-coded band • Detailed breakdown of each signal's contribution • Journal — add notes to any night for context • AI Export — share your data with ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI for personalized analysis • Trend charts to track recovery over time • Fully private — all data stays on your device • No account required, no subscriptions Requires Apple Watch or compatible device that records sleep and heart rate data to Apple Health.
