Favorite keyboard of all time
Ive had this keyboard from the beginning, im on an iphone 15 pro max and the app still works flawlessly. it makes having these kinda devices WORTH IT. It doesn’t have the best predictive type but it don’t matter out knows better than apples but even if out didnt the UI makes up for it, im using the slide features and its always on point at correcting my mistakes, (using it now and I haven’t had to delete or correct a word the way I do with apple.

Best typing app
I never write reviews. I’m hoping Jormy sees this. This is the best typing app ever. I’ve been using it ever since it came out and haven’t looked back. However, it’s been many years since an update and now the GUI is starting to break. Save me Jormy! You’re my only hope!

Still not updated. Keyboard is practically broken with iOS updates. It was the best keyboard when it came out. No other keyboard compares. At this point, I’ll have more success learning code and making my own app similar to this, than Jormy returning.

Don’t buy
I can tell this used to be awesome. Now, there are issues. The big one being that half the time the keyboard pops up there’s nothing there. It hasn’t been updated in 6 years and needs to be reworked for the latest iOS. Should not still be available for purchase.
Best 3rd party keyboard still to date
A bit of a learning curve at first to understand how to use a double swipe keyboard, but I still been using this for years and it absolutely still stands out as the best keyboard ever.

Should be the standard
This might be an excellent keyboard, but the settings are likely the worst thing you've ever used on an iPhone.
It crashes a lot too. That's a shame because of course that makes it less attractive. This seems to be a relatively new issue.
The iPhone X and similar have a persistent button to change the keyboard, so the equivalent button on Nintype could be less prominent when running on those phones.
The keyboard styles could do with an update.

I just started using this keyboard again after upgrading to an iPhone 15 Pro and its been super stable and as long as it keeps working, I’ll never go back. It makes the stock keyboard feel so incredibly slow, its insane.

The only actually fast keyboard
I have used nearly every keyboard app from Gboard to Fleksy, but none have come anywhere close to typing as swiftly as nintype. The UI could be improved and it takes some time to set up and get used to, but once you do it, you can 3x your typing speed. Highly recommended for actual fast typing without hurting your hands.

Still the best 3rd party keyboard
I sincerely hope this concept is resurrected or replicated in the future. This is a natural extension to the Swype concept, which allows for faster and more comfortable typing. The hidden complexity is unfathomable, but is executed astonishingly well. The default settings and theme are a bit rough, but the concept is flawless. Even outside the core feature of multiple fingers swiping, the prediction engine is stunning. I could gush about this project forever. It’s gotten buggier over time, and it’s not updated anymore. But I still use it when I need to type a lot at once.

Hardcore innovation
Nintype was one of the greatest things to happen to iOS. An ambitious, totally original idea for a keyboard; it made typing and writing documents on a phone suddenly feel seamless and natural (also fun!). I hope jormy is doing well and one day able to put some of his time into updating this incredible keyboard for the upcoming iOS release.. I know many iPhone users would be very thankful ✌🏽❣️

great keyboard hamstrung by apple and lack of updates
Once you learn it, it is an amazing keyboard. Unfortunately, IOS has terrible third party keyboard support, and the lack of updates in the last five years is disappointing. Very customizable with a crazy amount of options.
freezes
unfortunately the whole keyboard freezes up and i have to restart my phone often, making it unusable as a main keyboard. if this was fixed it would be a perfect keyboard!!
