Amazing PLEASE READ!
It is useful, automatically tells you what product to boycott without needing to lift a finger. HOWEVER, it would be amazing if products for both the boycott AND alternative lists were categorised into types of products. Please add, this would be a life saver for when you realise the product you were going to buy or have been buying is on the boycott list, because you can just look at an alternative automatically. EG You’ve been using Google, so you look at the browser category to find an alternative, Firefox.

Be careful
I downloaded the app to test and before it would scan anything it forced me to an “Earn Cash” website. I closed that tab and was able to scan but then it wouldn’t give me results unless I provided an email address and credit card.

Limited scope
It is just a pro Palestine app. Which is noble but it really doesn’t care about other issues. Just Palestine. Tried contacting tech support for help with search issues but received zero help. The only way they’ll respond is of you leave a bad review.

Great but has issues
They will put a company of brand on the boycott list if it’s israeli, not all israeli people or things r bad, the issue is the government (and sadly most of people in israel), but it’s great that they list the reasons so i atleast know if i agree and they have branched out to let u stand with sudan aswell as palestine

There is some conflicting information, so it’s still important to verify the details before deciding whether to boycott a brand. Otherwise, you might end up boycotting the wrong company or unknowingly supporting one you’re trying to avoid.
For example, Swisse appears on the boycott list, but when I scanned one of its products, the app said it was okay—even though the brand itself should be boycotted.
On the other hand, I scanned a product from McLintock’s Vanilla Fresh, which is a 100% Australian family-owned cleaning company, but the app appears to have confused it with Fresh, the cosmetics brand owned by LVMH. These are two completely different companies. McLintock’s Vanilla Fresh is not the brand that should be boycotted—the brand associated with LVMH and the boycott is Fresh, the cosmetics company. It seems the app matched the word “Fresh” in the product code instead of identifying the actual manufacturer.
Please app owners look into this and correct it as this kind of mismatch could unfairly affect unrelated companies and mislead users who are trying to make informed purchasing decisions.

Don’t waste your time
Terrible app - no barcode seems to work. I tried very obvious Israeli products and still not working. Waste of energy promoting hate, don’t waste you’re time
