Garbage

This app is garbage. They are just an aggregator service that compiles real estate listings that they don’t represent. Their agents have to get in touch with the listing agent of each property to schedule showings. We made 50+ requests this week because they told us to make a request for every date and time that was a possibility for us— out of everything we requested we were able to see ONE apartment. Most of the listings came up and rented within days before anyone from Nobee was even able to get us into the units, because Nobee is the last in line to have access to the listings they claim to have available. MUCH better luck getting in touch with the listing agent for each property directly. Don’t bother, this is a total waste of time and energy.

Don’t bother

This app mostly lists the same managed apartments which you can find on over 100 other apps and websites. Since apartments typically don’t charge broker fees, this app is useless and redundant. Look up a managed apartment on Nobee and you’ll see they falsely claim a savings on broker fees, when these managed apartments don’t charge broker fees. Just another company blowing smoke.

We understand that there might be some confusion, so we would like to clarify that Nobee is a full service brokerage and listing platform in Boston. This means that we are able to show you the same apartments as other listing sites, as well as assist you with touring and renting any of the properties that you are interested in. Typically, real estate agents and brokerages in Boston will charge a full month's rent broker fee for taking you on tours and helping you sign an apartment. However, at Nobee, we offer a discounted fee of $500 per room, which can help you save, on average, 70% on broker fees. Furthermore, unlike other apps that simply connect you with an agent (if you're lucky enough to get a response), Nobee is the actual agent and we will proactively reach out to you as soon as you schedule a tour to ensure that you can tour the property as soon as possible. Called my phone the day after downloading

The day after I downloaded the app I was called by a sales rep. I did not ask for this call and found it a odd as I was just browsing through the app and didn’t contact any properties. Would prefer if they ask if you’d like to be contacted before calling

Fast and saved money

I used apartments.com and Zillow before this. However, it took weeks for agents to reply (the ones who did actually respond) and by the time I got on a showing, the unit was already rented. I tried Nobee and while units still got rented before a showing (I guess boston rental market was just crazy this year), I was able to view thousands of apartments and schedule a showing for the next day without having to talk to so many different agents. Saving money on broker fees was also a cherry on top.
