Good idea in theory
Unfortunately the app is full of low effort people who don’t show up or just want somebody else to organise everything, only to flake out at last minute or try to change the event. I have also seen a number of people pretending to be travellers to try and get people into their bar or other venue so they get commission.

Avoid at all costs
Quite a disappointing experience. The app is paid, yet there aren’t that many activities or interesting suggestions available. Some men can also behave in a very inappropriate way, sometimes crossing the line, which makes the experience unpleasant. On top of that, the moderation can be really confusing: you can get blocked for suggesting something that has absolutely nothing sexual about it, while genuinely inappropriate behavior from some users seems to go unnoticed. Considering the price, I think the app should offer many more activities and, above all, have better user management and moderation.

Terrible
It was pretty much a worthless experience for me using this in Japan. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if some on there aren’t real people at all. They could be paid injectors managing multiple locations. Just a feeling.

Just got suspended for life with no real reason why, I wish I could just get an answer, all my friends are there and I haven’t even completed one month using the app.

Downloaded on iPhone, only gives sign in option and even on website doesn’t allow to create an account. Bit pointless

Fui banido sem qualquer explicação ou motivo aparente. Achei que fosse apenas um bug, então acabei deletando minha conta. Depois disso, não consegui mais entrar nem recuperar meu acesso. Perdi completamente minha conta.
Experiência péssima. Um aplicativo que pode simplesmente bloquear o usuário sem explicar claramente o motivo e depois dificultar a recuperação da conta não passa confiança. Não recomendo. Melhor pensar duas vezes antes de usar.
Inclusive, encontrei outras avaliações recentes de usuários relatando problemas semelhantes com suspensões e falta de explicação.

I was blocked and my account was deleted for absolutely no reason. I had not sent any messages, created any events, or violated any rules. I was simply browsing the app and looking for an interesting group to join when, suddenly, my account was closed and removed.
I contacted support and even provided a screenshot and the ban number, simply asking for an explanation. I received no response whatsoever.
After this experience, I honestly realized that this app is nothing like what I expected. It feels like users can be removed without transparency, explanation, or a fair review process.
If an app can permanently delete someone’s account while they are simply browsing, without clearly explaining what rule was violated—and then ignore their support request—what kind of platform is that?
Very disappointing experience. I expected a community for travelers and meeting new people, but instead I experienced what feels like arbitrary moderation where some people can be removed while others remain.
You seriously need to improve your moderation system, transparency, and customer support. Users deserve to know why they were banned and have a fair opportunity to appeal.
I would strongly recommend thinking twice before investing your time in this platform until these issues are addressed.

Tedious onboarding and then… no events
Filled in all the data you wanted: date for birth, pick 10 interests, country, home location, pick a photo, my name, select notifications, travel style… then you ask for a rating? Bro I haven’t event USED your app. Then you ask me to get nomad Plus?? NO I still don’t even know what the app is about… aaaaaaand finally, there‘s 1 event and I’m not interested in it. Worst onboarding experience ever, ciao.
