Recording trips

The app doesn’t have the flexibility to record a trip using an alternate travel path.
I wanted to use the American River Bike Trail, but when I use my start and end address there is only one path which is recording fewer miles.

Response from developer

The app does not record your exact path, it simply records the origin, destination, and approximate distance which is used to calculate your savings and impacts. If you see a path on a map for your route, it is just an approximation of your route and not your exact route.

Very poor connections

What a terrible app. Trying to log my bike rides in and it keeps stopping and giving me error messages.

Response from developer

We're very sorry you had this problem. A small number of other users reported a similar issue and we have been able to track it down. We've since fixed the problem in version 10.9.0 which should be available soon.

Not accurate

This app seem to be working when I first downloaded it but now I have nothing but problems. It should be collecting data from my Love to Ride app, but it’s not. It seems to only record trips that you specifically identify that you take on a regular basis, not just any biking trips. Totally confused.

Response from developer

We're very sorry you had problems. Love to Ride is no longer an option. However, if you sync with Strava it will record all of your trips, not just your regular bike trips.

Useless for biking

Can’t record bike rides easily. Can’t record round trips. Mostly useless imo.

Response from developer

We're very sorry you're having trouble recording bike trips. If you sync with Strava it will record all of your trips, even round trips.

Not as good as Love to Ride

I sync from Strava and while it is round trip it should show total miles.
It only shows one way. I do indicate round trip.
App is hard to navigate and seems as though it does tally round trip correctly.

Response from developer

We're sorry you're having trouble with the mileage totals, that should not occur since the miles are transferred directly from Strava. If you contact our support team (More -> Contact us) we will look into this right away.

Not easy to use

Not intuitive what so ever. Not easy to record or log rides. Can’t log pat rides. I am trying to use this app for May bike month for my work. I feel like I am wasting my time. Very frustrating

Response from developer

We're very sorry you're having problems. If there is a specific issue we can help, please contact us anytime by selecting More -> Contact us.

Unreliable app

Unreliable app that does not synchronous with strava or garmin app as intended.

Total waste of time trying to use this app.

Response from developer

We're very sorry you had problems. Strava syncing was having problems for a few days but it's fixed now if you'd like to try again. We're also not aware of any syncing problems with Garmin. If you've experienced problems with Garmin, please contact us (More -> Contact us) and let us know the details and we will look into it right away.

Eh

Interface could be better. Hard to find stuff like joining a team and connecting to Strava.

Response from developer

Sorry for the confusion. Just select the May is Bike Month banner to view the event, then select Register to view participation options like joining a team.

Difficult to Record Trips

It’s really difficult to get this thing to record trips. I linked it to sync with the Love to Ride app but it’s still not grabbing data from there (only did it 1 of 3 rides). Most of my trips are casual bike riding in a loop. I can’t manually input the miles. If I want to, I have to find an address (starting point) and another address equalling half of the miles I rode (end point). I’m already frustrated having to do this for 2 trips to help my work team for May is Bike Month and not sure I’ll continue.

Response from developer

We're very sorry you had a problem with Love to Ride, it was unexpectedly disabled for May is Bike Month which is why your trips were not synced correctly. Going forward, you can setup a Trip Profile, enter a start and end point and it will automatically record your trips. We also know that entering a start and end point is not your preferred method and we will look into adding this capability in the future. Thanks for your patience.

Very bad app

Really disappointed in this app. I consider it almost unusable. Im hoping for major changes to be rolled out soon

Response from developer

We're very sorry you had problems. If you can contact support we would be glad to look into the problems you may be experiencing and see if we can help. Please select More -> Contact us from within the app to contact us at your earliest convenience.

Glitchy

The auto record feature is super glitchy. It constantly turns itself off and miss trips

Response from developer

We're very sorry you experienced this problem with the auto-record trip feature. We recently made updates to the app that should correct this intermittent problem. We hope you'll download the latest version and let us know how it goes.

Highly recommend

A lot of great rewards on this app. $40/month in gift card, giveaways and reimbursement for uber/lyft/taxi 5 times per year. Love it
