The last few months too many sites blocking NordVPN wasting money I don’t recommend it

It really baffles me how this brand and app gets so lauded. It’s the most basic and average VPN I’ve used. I guess sometimes the masses just flock to something and it has a network effect. It’s certainly not due to its functionality and feature set.

I’ve been using NordVPN for a decade and it used to be good. Now it’s bloated, commercialized, and the app is slow, can’t sign in on MacOS because it just sits there, no matter how many times I click to sign in. It feels like Norton. I hate what has become of NordVPN and I don’t trust it whatsoever. I bet they paid a fortune to vibe code this trash too.

J’ai dû annuler mon abonnement. Du jour au le demain, mon téléphone ne voulais plus se connecter aux reseaux wi-fi et agissait comme si je n’avais pas de carte sims. Après plusieurs test de nombreux techniciens, nous nous sommes rendu compte que c’est l’application qui bloquais mon téléphone.

This isn’t as good as it used to be. I’ve been a customer for many years. I’m not sure what happened in the last few years, but it’s not what it used to be. Will randomly just not do the one thing it’s supposed to do, stay connected. I’ve gone to many public unsecured networks, with what used to be default ‘on’, and this stupid thing will just not connect, no good reason. Sometimes it’s a pending update. But nothing that makes sense, it’s not a trusted zone or anything. Don’t buy dedicated ip, I did, it rarely works. Network connections are super unstable. The whole better regional protection promise of dedicated ip doesn’t work. Streaming services don’t recognize this thing. I often have to kill it and revert back to regular vpn. Also If you ask for a refund, make sure its asap, because even if your service doesn’t work, they won’t refund you. Their support team is not very knowledgeable about their own app, and you’ll be started at the most basic tier of tech support.

Bad connection
Works well for getting other countries movies on streaming services, and for getting around wifi restrictions. But I often find that connection is poor and I often find myself having to disable it in order to do everyday tasks because it just can’t keep up not sure if this is a problem that persists across other VPNs, but I would recommend checking them out before the money on a year-long subscription

This VPN is pointless
This is pointless, unnecessary and doesn’t work.
Randomly requires cookies
Suddenly the app requires all cookies to be activated. Really? When did that happen? How long has my device been at risk? Nope. I’ll find a better provider. Not likely they will reimburse my money for the time after they breached contract - altered contract randomly with my agreement and then keeping the money?!? That’s cute. No thank you.
