I like most likely many, came to know of NordVPN from Pewdeipie. At first I was skeptical, most likely because I’ve never rlly had to worry about people dabbling into your private affairs from a other network. But just recently I went to a club with my brother, we had fun and all, but after we left I noticed that my phone internet and chip didn’t work. Now before u ask, yes I paid the bill and all, but my thoughts were at the time that it just didn’t work. It was only the next day that I was home and trying to connect to my wifi did I notice that it didint work, neither did my chip. Now here’s where things get conspiracy-esh, when I tried to connect to the internet my family was using, it didn’t work, yet for them they didn’t have a single problem, I tried it with all of my wifi and still didn’t work. So that’s when I thought that this was an attack of sorts. And just conveniently my vpn was off. You wanna guess what happened next? Hehehe…! I connected to my vpn again and boom it worked! The wifi that once didn’t work’ worked like there was no problem in the first olace. So yeh, guess you don’t believe something until it happens to you huh? Regardless, this vpn is worth it just for that absolute sense of security once you connect to it. Anyway, code pewdipie for a % amount off. Thanks Felix, this app is worth it

i have to regularly re-establish nordvpn on my iphones and ipads. not sure if this is due to device updates or changing networks or nord updates. i just know it is annoying when my wife hands me her device and says the internet is not working when clearly it is on everything but her stuff

Latest update is absolutely horrible.
Prior to the latest update everything was working fine. But now auto connect takes a long time and often fails to connect to a server. Reconnecting is extremely slow and often just fails to connect. The user interface is more difficult to use. This is ridiculous. Nordvpn has gone downhill. It should be renamed “broken in the next release”. Now the developer response will likely be “oh we’re so sorry” well yes you are - sorry. Just fix it and stop breaking it!

VPN - Not all Great
I assume the VPN is doing its job. However, two negatives, first the VPN sucks your power from your iPhone. I notice about a 25% increase in power consumption. Second, internet connections can slow down considerably and maybe not even connect. So having a VPN is nice, but there are trade offs. I assume this is true for all VPNs, though I do not know for sure.
As a follow up, NORD contacted me and offered a protection work around. I will report back. I do want to commend NORDS quick response to my concern.

I just suffered from a very bad targeted cyber attack by extreme criminals. They basically took my computer apart. Must invest in security or you can loose it all. Anything funny happens twice it’s a red flag. I recommend Nord VPN from a consumer side and a technical approach. I know the bad don’t like to deal with their layers of security.

Works Well But Sites Blocking MyUse
Works well, easy to install to all my devices and app is easy too. Downside is that more and more sites slow or blocking use from VPN.

I use different VPN provider’s for different purposes example, one may have a solid/faster server in the UK. Even though I prefer the roaming capabilities of Surf Shark to Nord I have discovered over the past decade that Nord, even though they had their issues a few years ago with security, when compared to my own expereinces with others (Express, Surf Shark, Hide.Me, Proton) Nord is by far the most stable concerning connectivity, speed, and privacy.
