Do not let it near your contacts!
Huge mistake!
After it was done, some of my most common contacts were gone completely and others were missing street addresses or primary phone numbers. None of the supposed clean up steps followed any rhyme or reason that I would have directed, and there were no questions asked to guide the process. In short, what might work well for removing duplicate images does not with Norton Phone Cleanup.

Your point about contacts is clear. On iOS, Norton Cleaner’s contacts cleanup is meant for duplicates and incomplete records, and those contact changes are backed up so they can be reviewed in the Trash tab before permanent deletion. If some details still need to be restored, please visit support.norton.com so the team can check the contact changes with you. *Norton
Freezes

Freezing on an up-to-date iPhone should be checked by updating Norton Cleaner in the App Store, restarting the device, and ensuring sufficient storage is available. If it continues, reinstall the app after moving important items out of Secret Files, as uninstalling removes its contents. For further investigation, visit support.norton.com. *Norton
