Lagging too much when scribble!!!!!!

Why so laggy

First, the app crashed and deleted my moodboard that I put so much effort into. Then I turned iCloud syncing on and back off. It deleted all my folders and some of my notes. Then I turned iCloud syncing back on and now my notes aren’t loading. And every time I go into another app and back into notability, it flipping lags so hard I need to double swipe three times, open the app again, load up my note and continue working. Could have been a reallly good note taking app though.

Annoyed with horrible bugs on this app

This rubbish of app does not stop freezing all the time in MacOS, latest to July-2026, both on my iMac and MacBook, and even on iPhones. Ridiculous for months have this issue after some updates the app implemented, always getting worse.

Constantly breaking, losing data

I’ve used this app for years and this dev team is completely inept. The app is constantly broken by their updates. Users are constantly losing months or years of data. And instead of fixing core issues, the dev team is focused on building shiny AI features. Icing on the cake: their support system is also using AI. What a waste of my time and money.
