I need a calendar, but all it shows me is nothing on the ad. I saw a really cute calendar!
Great but why
It’s a great app, but almost everything in it you need to pay for! I’m not allowed to upgrade it and with the tools I have it’s worse than any other drawing app I have so it’s a bit of a waste of time unless you can pay, I don’t recommend this app
Where’s the one-time unlock?
App loses 2 stars for shoehorning AI where it doesn’t need to be, and loses 2 more for using that to justify absolutely ridiculous "as-a-service" subscription prices. $8 per WEEK?! Surely that’s a typo! And what’s worse, when researching this app, there used to be a one-time purchase available.

Almost there, but not quite.
I really like how my handwriting looks on this app. It’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back to the PDF Annotation app. I just wish it offered things like layering or changing the opacity of pictures. I also wish that when you crop a photo and go back to edit it, the full original image wasn’t still sitting behind the crop. This app just needs bigger updates before we’re “forced” to use something else.
Update: All the updates no one asked for! The floating toolbar has to be the most unwanted update I’ve seen! It’s in the way!! Please change it back

Increasingly less user friendly over time
I have loved this app for years, and use it daily. There is not another one like it. Unfortunately the user experience has declined tremendously with the introduction of floating menus and palettes which must be constantly moved around on the page in order to write or read. Formerly these were dropdown menus which stayed out of the way, but no longer. I cannot emphasize enough how annoying and disruptive this is to the use of the app. I am searching for another app to replace this one, which makes me sad because Noteshelf has been so good for so long.

This app is great i love that you can create note books and that theres lots of colors and free features but i hate that all of the templates are for premium people only

Okay so I have seen ads for this app and I was like oh why not try.DO NOT. It is way too expensive unless you are rich. If I used this for just a year. My bank account would hit ZERO. Please to protect your dignity and not have it shredded... Do not try.

안녕하세요. 오랜 기간 사용한 사용자 입니다. 제가 강사 일을 하면서 본격적으로 프리미엄 구매 후 쓰고 있습니다. 다른것 전부 편리하고 좋으나, 포인터의 굵기 조절이 안된다는 점이 너무 아쉽습니다. 포인터 굵기 조절이 가능하게 개선되었음 좋겠어요.

THIS APP IS NOT SAFE - The support team simply ignores any messages for help - ultimately you will lose your data - in my case worth £1000s - they didn’t even respond when I asked for help - DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY USE ALTERNATIVE!! One star is far too generous!!!
Sudden Cost
I have used Noteshelf for many, many years. I used the first, the second and the third versions. I have been very pleased with app, using it almost daily. Yesterday I opened the app and was met with a “start free trial” for seven days, then you will be charged monthly for use of the app. If I’m not mistaken somewhere along the way, I purchased this app. Seeing I would have to pay a fee for what already paid for, I took the 7 day trial. I converted very note and notebook to pdf files and promptly dropped the free trial and deleted the app from all of my Apple devices.

When you choose upgrade, it only gives you two options: $40 a year or $10 a month.
No other options, though there are more options shown in the app store in-app purchase section.
Also only a 2 day free trial. Like you can tell enough about the app in two days to know if it’s worth subscribing.
